Humbag, if that’s the case, then I will definately bring my 360. IF I can find a reasonably sized TV in my house, I will bring that as well.
I might be bringing my 22 inch LCD monitor for my 360 to run on for some HD HD goodness.
Not 100% though cause that thing is kinda delicate for travel lol. The game is perfectly fine in 4:3 mode heh.

This was the only tournament I was going for really, that really sucks.
I’m not going to embarass myself playing half assed struggling with some dude’s stick when I’ve been using the same pad for 2 weeks, essencially since the game came out.
A good alternative would be also to bring your PS3 (or someone else), and if your opponent is ok with it play on it for your match instead of 360 assuming at least someone brings a ps2>ps3 converter. Just a quick suggestion hate to see people not come.
Also on top of housing, who would be interested in rooming with me in a hotel? And seeing as how it’s New Years a lot of us will have that Thursday and possibly Friday (I do at least) off, so perhaps we could come a day earlier (show up on Thursday, or earlier Friday) and party/celebrate the new years in the hotel, anyone else game for this?

Thing is, we got so many more 360s. Both me and TonyD are more familiar with them.
One way or the other, both systems cause a problem.
360: Not as many stick choices, pad dpad sucks.
PS3: Not as many that people are willing to donate, do we have enough convertors, reports of more glitchs on ps3 version.
All and all for me and Tony, 360 was more logical. Sorry for you ps2/3 pad players =/

Also have we figured out any differences between versions as far as gameplay goes? If not I don’t see why we can’t use both, just say plan on xbox360 but if someone wants to bring their PS3 and who they’re up against can use their stick (or one they’re ok with) then go for it.
Thats why the article on SRK.com says to be smart and own controller options you like for both 360 and PS3.

I’m more or less in the same boat. I really don’t have time to hack/make a custom controller for the 360. unless my bro lets me borrow his modded hrap3.
Well I got the day off so I’ll definitely come. And depending on weather I’ll bring my cab, so we can play it on the cab (PS2 and PS3 games).

for those complaining about the 360 choice for HDremix, just man up and play anyway. cant please everyone unfortunately. if you played the game on arcade youd have to learn to use a different stick. i dont think it will end up being that big of a crutch honestly. just enter and do your best. I have the game for PS3 but im still gonna enter so you should too!
