i’m just giving you a bit of a hard time, i saw how difficult that match-up is for cammy during casuals before tourney started. like… my honda is total scrub honda and i kept it pretty close and pieguy actually has a good honda unlike mine. gotta play to win, and you got that fight money :tup:
i felt bad for the kids walking up to jack and having in depth conversations while he was in the middle of intense matches and getting the cold shoulder from their new hero. shame on jack. kids come first.
I think they understand that their hero was in deep focus so they didn’t mind o_o. He replied in between matches though haha.

I’m sad i missed this tourney, I go to school in LA and I get to play at FFA and AI all the time, but i’m back home in sacramento for the summer and haven’t been able to get any live play goin =/ I tried to read most of the thread and I got that you guys are using ps3 setups right? Unfortunately I have a 360, and I would like to come next weekend if possible, so if someone wouldn’t mind letting me use their stick, I would greatly appreciate it! A beverage or food item from the bar would definitely be coming your way. Anyway, If there’s anyone this lives out in the citrus heights/OV/Folsom/Fair oaks/Charmichael area and wants to get together for some friendlies sometime let me know!!!
I believe the next tourney is on the 11th. Also I think there was talk of doing future 360 tourneys since people have more sticks? 360’s are more susceptible to disc scratching though…I had a friends disc get scratched today = read fail.
Props to Romeo for setting this up and to everyone that made it out. This was my first tourney and I gotta say it was pretty koo. I’m looking forward to the next one…hopefully I do better. Need that fight money!
this was a dope turnout. my son loved it. i just got tired of carrying him the whole time cuz he couldnt see the tvs. and i got to see how much i suck compared to everyone that played. haha. hopefully i’ll be able to play next time. much props to the organizer, not sure which one you were, but you did a good job.

um… a scratched disc isn’t a issue if you put the game on HD allready, it only spins the disc for a few seconds to confirm that you own it. i know cause my ng2 disc got scratched… so i bought a used copy from GS then installed that and returned it. my old scratched disc still works to verify that i own the game then it runs the clean version off my HD

What’s up Ubyte - we’re not doing it this weekend because it’s Independence Day and the place will be closed. Next tourney will be on the 11th. I was thinking of adding another setup, but simply for convenience and less headache, we’re keeping it strictly PS3 for now. Is there any particular reason why you want to play on 360? If sticks are the issue, there were plenty of sticks available last time, and you’re sure to find someone who’ll let you borrow your stick. There was a little mishap last time where someone mistakenly took someone else’s TE, but it was just an honest mistake - so if you have a PS3 stick or a modded 360 stick, feel free to bring it.
Mainly because I feel that the PS3 controller stick are too loose. I’m not sure how it would get complicated but It’s not my tournament so I’ll respect the rules. I don’t have a modded xbox controller so I guess I’m jus’ gonna have to make lemonade here.
