awesome tourney even though the turn out wasnt that good. This time i felt a little more relaxed as I played but I felt the pressure in my match with sicx. That match was so hype at the end. Actually all the matches were really good to watch. There were a lot of upsets and that made it enjoyable. Has anyone thought of doing an all star 5v5 regional matches? Like the top 5 from Sac vs top 5 from Davis. O yea I forgot to ask you Romeo about 3rd strike on your labtop

have you ever consider like one weekend out of the month you combine sac weeklies with metro comix tourney? but man comic book place was cool but it smelled like b/o and axe every time you walked in.
I’d rather go to The City (the coffee shop). 2 dollar venue fee + coffee on demand = omgyes.
The city has the better players and the time of day is just right for people work like to party on Fridays then wake up at 12 and then go to The City to kick some ass. Playing at the city has really helped me become a better player. I was really comfortable at the metropolis tourney and definitly helped me get 3rd place. Everytime i lost to the Davis people I thought I sucked really bad but I realized that I’m not that bad. Its just the Davis people have a lot more experience than I do. I really appreciate all the advice from everyone, Romeo, Jack and Tihn, you guys helped me reached top 3 for the first time.

Davis is just really, really good haha. When you get used to playing them in tourneys all the time, other tourneys seem so much easier by comparison. Eric Choi’s Rufus is absolute garbage though. Haha just kidding his Rufus is terrifying o_o
Gamegeezer and I will discuss both of our tourneys. It would be unfavorable to split one potential 25-30 person tourney into two seperate 10-12 person tourneys. It seems like whenever you have to split a group of people for this sort of thing, some just… disappear o_o.
i think gamegeezer as monthly and city as weekly would be good.
davis guys seem to enjoy coming to city and those that went to gamegeezer’s that are interested in competing more, they can come out to weeklies (i’m sure a lot of ppl there did not know about the city before)
also, blazblue as a monthly is probably better for their scene. if gamegeezer’s was weekly. they run the risk of the low turnouts. and esp with ppl driving pretty far to go to a tourney, you dont’ really want blazblue to drop like that.
if gamegeezer can do somethign about the venue fee, you could really attract alot of out of towners.
