The thing is how many people have set up their sticks to be able to perform blink/slink? I would want to do that, but a majority of the people there aren’t able to do such a thing lol.

At this point, doing raw EWGF and st. normal xx EWGF aren’t issues for me. But I can’t consistently do EWGF from a crouching normal. I’m currently using the Loltima method (box method). What method are you guys using?

I don’t understand, wanna try… For example, you put HP on select button, and when you try ewgf you make f,n,df+HP+select? If you miss, you got a simple wgf, not an ex? amazing!
Just curious, is it possible to do the EWGF with the Super Easy Input Gem equipped? If so, would it be F, DF+MP/HP?
Assuming that there’s a neutral input in between the inputs you listed, meaning:
:f:, N, :df:+:mp:/:hp:
that’'s actually the shortcut input w/o the gem.

I just double checked the inputs with the gem and there is no N input between F and DF.
So I am assuming you mean that there has to be a N input between F and DF in order to perform a EWGF?
What are the exact inputs for the normal WGF without the gem?

Hey guys I have a question about the :f:, N, :df:+:mp:/:hp: input for EWGF I can do it on the left side but can’t do it on the right. Every time I do it either dash or CR. MP comes out I think I’m doing it too slow what do you guys think? By the way I’m using PS3 controller.
The inputs for WGF without the gem is: F,N, D, DF, MP/HP
You have check if your input is correct on training mode. and practice.

Really? Too bad gems are banned in tournaments so there’s no way around grinding it out.

I’m sorry if this has been asked I’ve read through most of the posts and my problem is simply not understanding the feel of it. I have tried all the methods of performing the EWGF but the normal way is the one that feels best to me and I can crank out normal ones like no tomorrow. I am very serious about this character before the game even hit and really want to make sure I can use him at his fullest. I want to be able to do this the normal way but I was just wondering if anyone could help me on any tips for how to get the feel of it. The problem I have is that I can not determine what my problem is. I have no idea if I’m too slow too fast or what and have yet to discover a feel for it. This is very discouraging but something I refuse to give up on. Any tips on this would be really appreciated. Also I know about the tricks and plinking etc but that’s not how I wanna learn it. I may be making it harder on myself but so be it.

As a general rule of thumb though, if you a crouching normal attack comes out you pressed the button too fast. If a regular or an ex wgf (if you’re plinking) comes out it means you were too slow pressing the button.
