Actually, plenty of us have been vocal about it. Weāve sent letters to the higher-ups at Tilt about the possibility of getting a 3S machine in town. We were polite and professional and made some good arguments for one. For example, if Tilt got a 3S cab, it would be the only arcade in the area with oneā¦ and since 3S is fairly popular among fighting game players in the area, it would probably do well. Hell, the last BKD tourney had around 20 people at it - and the event wasnāt really announced or anything. Second, a 3S cab is pretty cheap as far as cabs go. Yeah, itās kind of unrealistic to expect Tilt to get a ton of Bemani because Bemani is really expensive, but 3S and CvS2ā¦ well, those games are a LOT cheaper than that second SvC cab wasā¦
Yeah, weāre in NM and NM isnāt exactly a ārichā state. But Tilt could do some things to improve its arcade without breaking the bank. True, Tilt has a couple of games that people like to play, but it has far more that just sit there. Ya canāt really make money off of games that sit there. Seriously, when was the last time anyone played X-men Vs. SF? Why does the arcade have multiple copies of these dated Vs. games that no one plays? I think it would make more sense to trade some of those unused cabs in for something that people would actually playā¦ Heh. Thatās just my opinion though.
tilt just wants what they think ppl will playā¦ which in every case they are wrongā¦ never had they had such a gather up of fighters. only a few timesā¦ when we use to have cvs2 weād have monthly tourneys and such. now its just like so pathetic its not even worth going into one cus one way or another youll end up dissappointed.

Iām sure Tilt makes most of their profits from DDR, Time Crisis and shit, childrenās games, and some of the fighting games. Theyāre doing fine, which is no incentive to better themselves.
Back in the day when i worked at tilt, our Regional manager said that in the end tilt is going to be over 90% ticket games or all ticket games, because of all the new gaming systems (x box, ps2 game cube etc.) the actual arcade games have gone to shit. The main profits in LCās tilt is wheel of fortune and solar spin. Its lame because i like to go to the arcade and game it from time to time even though i can play at home for free.
Thatās why I go, too. Thereās something special about doing the ROM to 35 on someone, which wows them. :lol: I like to impress other MVC2 players (scrubs) with my skills because it feels like I actually accomplished something, even if itās a videogame.
Arcade environment is just good, plain and simple.
DC = Free games because everyone āsharesā. :lol:

Friday is the day to go Tilt, although sometimes you can find comp during other weekdays. Tonight sucked big time at Tilt.
If you havenāt really played it, donāt talk shit. The game does has worthwhile stuff. Even if it is mostly girls (and I say this because of others rather than my own opinion) and can be a simple games at times.
In my taste it does beat CvS2. With the latest patches it has no real broken shit like CvS2, and the speed is between Alpha 3 and Guilty Gear. I find ReACT to be higher than CvS2 but below EFZ, which is right below Third Strike.
