PenPen: Nah, it isn’t aweful, sure it’s not as fast and heavy as their other stuff, but it’s still intense. And they still have some heavy songs too, sure it may sound a little more main stream, but if you truely listen to the music and the lyrics, it’s still classic NIN. You know Reznor would never fall into that shit. The albums just more chill, less about desparity and hopelessness, and more about change, and realization. I say give it another chance. Plus they usually only play 1-3 new songs on their tours, “You know what you are” (but that’s heavy neways), of course “Hand that Feeds”, and “The Line that Begins to Blur”(it’s not a wuss song either). The rest are all the classics: “March of the Pigs”, “Gave up”, “Wish”, “Burn”, “Starfuckers” you know good shit. I just wish they would play “Down In It” :sad:

Anyway, Manson’s not too bad… once you get past the fact that he’s Marilyn Manson. I used to hate him, but after a little while the music kinda grew on me. What can I say? Trent’s a good producer. Hell, he even made Rob Halford sound good.
As for new NIN… I bought the last album, and I kinda liked it. It wasn’t as good as their past stuff, but it was decent. I haven’t heard anyone get really excited over the new one. Friends of mine who are really in to NIN just said that it was “a’ight.” I’ll probably pick it up eventually and give it a fair chance - but there are too many other CDs I wanna check out first. 
Speaking of which… There’s a sign up in Hastings saying that there’s gonna be a new TOOL album in August. That will be sure to please.
