An overall stun increase of say ~10% would be great!
6-8 hits of RSF to a splash GG stun.
The only thing fuerte needs is a better way to survive.
Taking less damage, doing more damage, or a better way to get out of pressure on wake up.
God I’m already in love with fuerte, if they improve him any more I think I may just die <3
This happens to me all the time, habanero back dash definitely needs invincibility. I hate getting scooped out of it by DPs even more.
And yes, RSF xx Q-Bomb xx Super works, it deals a fuckton of damage.
My favorite (very elementary RSF) combo is j.FP xx FP xx FP xx Q.Bomb xx Super = 560 damage
@ densuo he has the 3rd best airthrow in the game
As for his improvements I think they might add a thing or two to him, but I think were gonna see everyone else get nerfed damage wise more than elf get buffed sadly.
Anyone EXACTLY knows how fast is his new ultra frame wise? If its REALLY fast (and deals GOOD damage) it can help a lot in his defense, and possibly his mixup game even more than Giga buster.
Speedwise Ultra Spark looks to be as fast as Yoga Shangrala, which looked pretty fast imo. However in a video a Dhalsim player tried to use it after teleport dodging a fireball and the Ryu player was able to jump out of it easily. Same with Abel’s 2nd Ultra as well.
I’m sure it’s not gonna be as easy to land as Zangief’s Ultra, but what I’m more concerned with is that is it a slide/hit Ultra, or a true grab (unblockable) Ultra like Seth said, because I’m getting two different accounts here.
It’s probably easy to determine which is which via it’s input motion, which I’m not sure of either.
Seth said its a “proper grab”, so it is a sliding unblockable grab most likely. as for the input motion, I THINK it is either 2x QCF + 3P’s or 2x QCB + 3K’s.
I’ve tried to do wake up Quesidilla Bomb in training, is that possible(yes i’m a scrub)? If not it should be, and in an EX version, I feel his wake up game is a bit weak, and too easy to rush.
3rd best airthrow? I was under the impression his airthrow was 2nd to guiles?
I distinctly remember someone saying that Fuerte’s new Ultra has 3 - 4F start up, but it was probably a rumor. He was at the Las Vegas fight clubs. It wouldn’t have been difficult for him to get frame data like that, just have Fuerte block a sweep and see if it can be punished with reversal Ultra.
Be aware it depends on your qbomb charge. If it’s a quick charged bomb super works. If it’s a full charge qbomb that knocks down you’ll either need hk super or corner. Be aware that qbomb knockdowns can be teched for quick stand. Good damaging combo to finish off a scrub as you won’t have super vs a good player.
IIPeru Fuerte has the number 2 airthrow via range. Vega’s airthrow range is only slightly less then Fuerte’s.
We can backdash to skip a throw. But I’d rather just have back run /ex backrun be ungrabbable. It’s frustrating as fuck having next to no escape options when floored.
If qbomb had any good startup (and lowattack invincibility on startup) it would be miraculous. Except for it’s shit recovery
Naw. It’s Guile (1.25), then Vega (1.2), then Fuerte (1.15).
I really want to use Q-Bomb more. I really do. I like the idea of Fuerte with a clothesline type move. But a mid with 17F start up? Are you fucking kidding me? No invincibility and Level 1 is unsafe on hit?
It’s really more of a taunt than anything else at this point.
Pretty much. its useful to a fault vs Gief…
It combos
^^On another forum, we were playing “HORSE” and that was precisely the combo I picked: “RSF > Q-bomb > super”
Run -strong should be visually distinct from Run -fierce. Keep them both fast so its difficult to react to, but its stupid how nomatter how fast your reaction times are, you have no idea if you’re going to be thrown or tostada pressed. Give him a ~10% all around damage buff.
Oh, so that Fajita Buster becomes even more useless?? …
That’s the point.
It’s part of the mix up. You condition your opponent to block high with a few Tostada Presses, then punish them with a Fajita Buster. It’s not supposed to be easy to deal with. Don’t forget that you can jump out if you’re expecting a throw.
backdash…
