Yo spab I’m headin out there Monday with that bison player I met with ya. Drop by will ya? We’ll record some stuff (I got an iPod touch) and I can qbomb you into a wall.
Edit: he asked me if I could beat you. lol.
Eric (Yun) Vs ReyArt (El Fuerte) - http://www.twitch.tv/ggslive/b/292305256 (Starts @ 1:13:45) - cr.LP works great against Yun!
GLB (Ryu) Vs ReyArt (El Fuerte) - http://www.twitch.tv/ggslive/b/292305256 (Starts @ 1:41:00) - GLB goes on to win the tourney.
I can’t seem to RSF Evil Ryu from close standing position, his reeling animation is ridiculous. Seems to only work off j.FP, j.RH & FA.
Had to leave Next Level earlier then I wanted. Got owned by a balrog. Went back and forth with a Guy/yang/Yun/chun. Recorded a match against a Chun.
I can’t followup after chaining crLP against Chun. But that’s where you just jump forward. If Chun is pressing buttons you’ll cross her up I believe after 3-4. I’ll post the vid soon.
As previously posted. CrMK on reaction beats Yun lunge punch easily. I beat Yun’s baited hk up kicks with a regular guac.
I have nothing against Balrog T_T
Neutral jump all day against Balrog. He’ll have to pick his dash punches carefully or he’ll eat a random crossup j.HP > RSF.
Most Chuns are backdash happy so slide or delay fajita buster/splash/safe jump U2 on their wakeup. If they have meter, run stop neutral jump to bait out ex spinning bird kick and air throw it on your way down. U1 works well too since her jump is way floaty. st.MP for footsies.
For Rog, run back stop slide works well on their wakeup and you can bait out wakeup headbutts with run stop neutral jump or run and spin back. QBomb works great if you’re in the lead, you can punish their whiff dash punches from full screen pretty much. I like using U2 in this matchup for that same reason, stops them from throwing out dash punches from full screen. Forward MK is a great tool in this matchup too on their wakeup, use it to make him lose his charge.
not much to tell from this video. Fuerte match at about 7:17. It almost looks like Tortilla grabbed from farther than normal at 8:29. 8:55 shows at least the U2 wasn’t modified when the player AA’d with it.
yessss test footage. and q bomb lookd like it recovered a little faster on whiff at around 7:54…maybe just me thoughh
Looked like it did… usually he continues to move forward just a smidge when it stops being active… that COULD be a change.
I’m convinced. Go to training mode. do any Qbomb you’ll notice he takes like 3 obvious steps to finally stop that DO NOT hit an opponent. I’m convinced this is a change. Holy shit
i wish my tv was working, i would do that right now…if its -10 on block, then virtually some things cant punish it… but certain moves can, im okay with that
being safe on whiff would be grand. Sometimes I whiff qbomb after an ultra spark to see what they do and sometimes it nets me them wasting ultra… if it recovers faster on whiff we could come up with more stuff
I tested it. It does look different.
A somewhat safe QBomb is a huge buff.
It’s about damn time that they make this move better. Move itself has lot of potential, but charge time and the unsafeness of it made it so risky to use.
oh boy oh boy
It’s time shove quesadillas don peeps throat
I’m wondering though if EX bomb charges faster… I wonder if the other three were modded as well. but a safe on whiff Qbomb means we got another toy.
EDIT:
I dunno… it looked like a level 1 qbomb…unless AE stealth nerf was to Qbomb’s recovery on whiff???
Is it just me or does he look faster overall? RSF looks like it was fast forwarded, I’m surprised no one else commented on this yet.
