El Fuerte General Discussion Thread

as it is now maybe ken and only on peeps that flinch and jump late… but yeah… too slow a startup

Focus cancel taunt a fireball into Quesadilla bomb. :coffee:

Wut? Fa. Xx taunt xx qbomb?

Fuck it. I’ll try it

Pick a taunt with a fast start up, or wait a little bit with 03. No one expects an 8 second Q bomb after taunt (especially if they taunt back)

I was looking at Brainz video… I gotta ask, what’s the point of holding back while doing the LP string?

In case it doesn’t link, it’ll be safe.

Alright I finally bought a fightstick.

I’m trying to make a stupid template to match my stupid personality.

What do you guys think?

ah, if I miss the link Fuerte will step back a bit before whiffing the next one. Gotcha

Paper: fucking epic. I was thinking of doing the same thing >:O face FTW:amazed:

@Paper: facial expression = WIN!

That stick makes me go WTF. It’s awesome. Make sure to hold it up whenever you land Ultra on your opponent. :bgrin:

Airthrows are awesome! Not only they are very useful, but they make you FEEL good when you land them!!

I need to get a custom template too D:, something bull based maybe.

first ever fuerte mirror. Funny as balls. we traded Focus Attacks, and even guacs.

Wonder if mirrors can trade tostadas, I can’t recall if we did. I only remember we traded attacks in air and slammed onto the ground. Wait that was the Guacs.

Yeah Fuerte Mirrors are pretty fricken random.

The one thing that any Fuerte fears is fighting another Fuerte. Especially if they are on the same level as you. Meaning, it’s Mindgaming hell.

It is but it isn’t. Once you start thinking in a fuerte mirror, you start losing. Brainless mashing is something i personally tend to lose to embarassingly. With fuerte it seems even worse in my experience. >_>

not really i think that putting some thought into what you can do next may help you avoid the next potential knockdown. for instance, I’ll almost always guac on wake up because the other fuerte will tostada/fajita or slide for wakeup games, which makes my guac totally safe to use. But if that’s all i do for a wakeup, the opposition should have been able to figure out that I’ll guac on wakeup, so he/she might just fake the dash baiting a guac on wakeup and i’ll get punished bitchslap quesdilla

Fuerte mirrors are hilarious to watch, but playing one of them makes me feel that I played 10 regular matches in a row, soooo tiring O_o I like playing them once in a while only for pure fun, but not much because I feel they don’t really develop my playstyle much in the long run, they are more about “brainless mashing” than actual mindgames in general (thats why they’re fun!).

No strats involved. I played one over the weekend. Dreadful. I did have the feeling of superiority since i was doing two hit rsf to slide, but one knockdown and i look like the scrub.

exhausting match.

Yeah, it really is just tiring. I don’t enjoy it much at all unless I’m just playing it for the hell of it and don’t really care about winning. If played seriously, it’s boring and exhausting to me.
