Its actually very effective. Some characters CAN’T catch him done properly, and when they’re chasing you, well, it can lead to easier punishment opportunities when they start getting reckless, Noobs will start getting extra Jumpy (EX Guac, then corpse hop and run away) or will spam forward Dash (Perfect time for some Quesadilla Bomb)
Looking at some videos (Namely the TKD vs everyone) and Thinking back to the Asswhuppity X that saco busted on me Sunday night… I’m looking at his backdash. It’s short as hell, but Saco using it like he did makes me think I need to backdash more often.
On that note. SACO: Gimme some feedback will ya?!?
Edit again: Exactly how fast is Tortilla’s Recovery??? it seems to recover faster then it looks… not as fast as say, Blanka Vert ball. but still real fast
If you check the recovery data for tortilla and compare it with other moves from Fuerte and other characters, you would get a rough idea on how fast is the recovery relatively.
Hmmm looking at Gordita Sobat. And how we all hate it, I see the frame data, But now, I think of one thing. There has to be something here.
Gordita Sobat: 18 recovery. +1 on block +5 on hit 20 block stun
compared to
Shower Kick : 11 recovery +1 on block +5 on hit 13 block stun
There’s a 7 frame difference in recovery, which is made up for in Block stun… wouldn’t this mean that Gordita Sobat should be able to lead us into the LP block string?
Didnt get anywhere with it today, while messing aoround and recompleting trials (ps3 was replaced so I had to start over) I hit a character with gordita sobat and combo’d far standing LP, I just dont remember who it was
Didnt do anything but just get my ass kicked more online. Got grabbed when I got up, even though I grabbed myself, shouldnt that be a tech? :shake:
Squandered three win opportunities and lost the final round of the day via perfect, real frustrating stuff.
At least I turned the tables on a Turtling Guile… killed the clock to win the second round. too bad I fucked up and got Ultra’d at the third round.
We all know Fuerte is a lucha and luchas are all about the flash. So I present you with a useless / flashy new move in our repertoire usable when you have meter to burn against an opponent about to be KO’ed in the final round.
EX RSF.
Because we can. :smokin:
I pulled this off in casuals burning four ex bars, you look like a GOD…a god with too much time on his hands.
Hes too nervous or hes just choking missed cross up fierce everytime almost hopefully he can shake off the jitters. Sucks he had to play sanford first stream match.
Lol no one is overreacting I just asked how he counterpicked. After playing good sagats then playing ed ma and leviathan I would still rather have akuma.
Yeah, I prefer Akuma if only because I only need to get in 2-3 times in order to take him out. With Sagat I have an easier time getting in, but he can take so much damage and deal so much out so quickly that I think it’s a rougher match overall.
