I am starting to hate those scrubs who keep complaining that Fuerte is too tricky, I honestly hope that Capcom doesn’t listen and cater to those people instead of us, that would be a complete disaster… so many characters seem like they are getting a lot of improvements, what about our luchador capcom??
i hope they give him AT LEAST a little hp boost, i dont want more actually
Here is a chance for you guys to vote for your favorite Japanese Fuerte player to participate in GodsGarden #2, the following is a link to the list of all players (of all characters) who have enough BP to be nominated:
http://godsgarden.jp/pc/modules/vote/
How to vote: You have a total of 5 votes each day, and one anti-vote (you don’t have to use it of course), you will see a list of all players. In order to find only the Fuerte players, go to the selection arrow that has “???” next to it, and select “???” (its the third name starting from the bottom), then click on the button next to it to confirm selection. After you select, you will see a list of 5 names, those are the Fuerte players that you can vote for. **each one will have two buttons next to him. The button on the left is to vote for the player, PLEASE don’t click on the right button as this is the anti vote button. **
How to know you are voting correctly: The first time you click on the voting button, you will see a counter appear right below the sign saying “GODSGARDEN #2 ???” you will see a japanese phrase with the numbers 5 (for the remaining votes) and 1 (the remaining anti-vote). Each time you click on the left button you will see the 5 decrease, till it hits 0.
The names:
- TKD
- Voo Tetsu-san
- Ebi
- Shibama
- (Sorry I don’t know how to read his name, help will be appreciated)
I am voting for TKD all the way!!! I wish Rikiishi and Iori were in there…
:d::l::d::l: :3k:
TKD is pretty soundly the best Fuerte from any of the footage I have seen.
i really appreciate your work akashwan but can you make something with pictures to explain the voting process?
cant seem to get to the point where you are talking about.
also, i would love to see new footage from tetsu but probably will vote for tkd
Sorry about that, I am not sure how to do it with pics, If you tell me how I will be glad to do it. For now I’ll try explaining with a different and hopefully more organized method than the last one:
**Step 1. **Click on the link provided http://godsgarden.jp/pc/modules/vote/ You will see a ranking from 1 to 15, this is a list of the top 15 players in Japan based on Battle Points. Steps 2 & 3 are to narrow down the list to only the Fuerte players.
**Step 2. **Right on top of the list, you will see a pull-down menu, there is only one, so it should be easy to spot. This is the menu for character selection. Click on the arrow to see the names of all characters in japanese.
Step 3. Counting from the very bottom, the third choice is El Fuerte. Here is how it looks like in Japanese “???”. Once you choose it, confirm the selection by clicking on the button right next to the pull-down menu. Once done, You should see a list of only 5 players. Those are the five Fuerte players that I listed in my previous post.
Step 4. Right next to the number of battle points (BP) of each player, you will see two buttons. ***The button on the left is the “vote for” button, and the one on the right is the “vote against” button. ** *You are allowed to “vote for” 5 times every day, and to “vote against” 1 time only. You don’t have to use all votes.
Step 5. The first time you click any voting button, it will not be counted as a vote. Instead, the counter will start, you will see a phrase in japanese with the numbers 5 and 1 in it appear on the screen (If you can’t find it just do CTRL+F and search for the number 5". Once you see the counter, each time you press a voting button, the counter will go down, until it hits zero.
Please tell me if this is still unclear, I know that my ability to explain stuff is not very good, so let me know how to use pictures and I will do it with more clarity
thanks buddy, that already helped out a lot
VOTING FOR TKD AND OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTETSUUUUU!
to bad rikiishi isn’t in
vote for tkd and the best fuerte ootetsu
As much as I like TKD, I really wanted Rikiishi to be in, his Fuerte is just very unique and different… I hope we can see him next year among the top Fuertes.
I just wanted to say one simple thing.
“I love you Tortilla Propeller.”
Seriously. Tortilla is El Fuerte’s best move. It baits, it beats, it punishes, it damages, it comboes, it’s controllable, its fakable, it even makes mother-bleepin julian fries, and then it went and evolved into an Ultra.
I love it when people try to do wakeup DP on me and I get them with Tortilla Propeller. It just feels so right to beat a DP and get away with it.
yeah. you see ryu put up a wake up mashed reversal dp and he’s like
SHO-RY-TORTIIIIIIIIIIIILLA!
I just when that happens
I did a psychic ex guac to a guile last night.
I imputed :r::d::r: :k::k: right before he used Ultra.
The cut scene starts and he’s immediately taken back down to the ground. This was the final blow of the last match.
He picked up his stool at the arcade and threw it then left.
:china:
First I’d like to say this: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
My experience yesterday wasnt as good, played again for the first time in a good while, my friend whupped my ass with his Gief and Ryu Gief’s headbutt seems to beat Air grab. I still hate Light DP lag, At least I can still bait decently. but the score was 17 -1 :wasted:
Afterwards I played a few random ranked matches. One match was against a Ryu with some fancy icon I never saw before, I assumed he knew what he was doing, and that an assbeating was imminent.
I hung back. he stood there.
he throws a fireball, TOSTADA
The clock starts ticking.
I focus a few fireballs
he gets repeato jumpy and he jumps in fo- TORTIIIIIIIIIIIILA
jumps aga- AIRTHROW
time runs out and I win.
Round two he DC’s within 30 seconds once I start running the clock down.
I’m rusty as hell, but I think I’ll be dedicating myself completely to just killing the clock
Played in the Singles tournament we run weekly here last night - I ended up placing 7th of 23 - Beat TheFuture’s Balrog which was the highlight of my night.
I also had a tournament wars match, but lost that one unfortunately - was playing TanakaForce’s Ryu. :\
Don’t have video of the Singles matches I was in unfortunately - but I will have video of the loss to Tanaka once it has been uploaded.
loool awesome stories. Fuerte is the true scrub destroyer!!
There was this scrubby gief I met yesterday, he literally tried to lariat every single spalsh on wakeup for 2 rounds, I kept splashing his *** nonstop wondering if he will ever just block, but he didn’t loool Then he ended up disconnecting. Then there was a Ryu player who also kept doing DP on wakeup all the time with me feeding him tortilla to death, ended up disconnecting in the middle of the epic tortilla animation!!! that made my day
I should start recording some of my matches as well, I had a great session the other night with a very good player who is solid with multiple characters (Blanka, Zangief, Balrog, Sagat, Akuma, Guile). We went 7-5 for me, but out of those 5 losses 3 are against his Blanka, I really need to be more patient with this green monkey The last match was against his gief and it was epic, it went down to the wire and I had almost zero health near the end, but managed to successfully bait a jump and gave him a full ultra to end it!!! He got really pissed but then ended up saying “really good game” :bgrin:
I think I just changed my mind. I’m tired of going 5-20 all damn day against everyone. I’m gonna just wait till ssf4 comes out. losing all damn day sucks
Oh cmon dude don’t be like that, it’s was just a bad night. We all have our bad runs man, we were just playing around and online means nothing dude! Just think your stuff though or something or play another character for a bit, you were just off your game thats all.
Funny, my friend that whupped my ass 1-28 yesterday said the same thing. I’ll get over it, but it’s totally demoralizing.
At least Q-bomb fits somewhere.
Edit2 I think the shenanigans with the Airthrow debacle was me chucking to early. Vega DOES have a better one, but not by much. I think Vega’s AG range is 1.15 with Fuerte’s being 1.1
I DID LoL pretty good when you missed your ultra and then I double failed by doing vega’s and flying past you. pretty horrible XD
