I got a new HDTV and the lag is pretty terrible even in game mode. so now when i want to play sf i have to move my console to my old crt in a diff room 
to make a long story short, dont try to “fix” the lag on a fancy big tv. you’re always better off going with the old TVs since they have 0ms lag. But maybe the ASUS monitor is a good choice if you dont have one anymore. I’m thinking of buying one myself since i want widescreen gameplay.

I never got a ASUS monitor. At this point, it’s kind of late for me as I would not have enough room for one. I just have a 26 in. LCD 720p Dynex. After skimming a bit, I think I’m screwed. The only thing I can think of is to look into getting VGA cables, but I hear those are a gamble.
Does the fact that I can use it as a PC monitor help?
EDIT: Now I’m thinking about selling my TV to my sister. With that in mind, what are the EVO monitors and what’s the different sizes I can get assuming that size doesn’t matter? Also, can I also watch TV on these monitors just like any other TV?

Really depends on the player. I played against Juicebox for a while while he played many different characters. His Sakura was the only character to not pose a major threat/close calls.
Really if your opponent has superb reaction/knowledge it’s tough. Those who do not know the Fuerte matchup are those whom we prey on, and they are slowly dwindling in number. :sad:
One thing that worked almost ever time wad Q-Bombs. Man, I wish I had like three extras fingers on my hand to charge them all the time… I’d kill for Q-Bomb to be a motion.

Oh God, yes. That would probably make the move a lot better along with a better EX version. They need to make it more like Cody’s Zonk Knuckle.
Maybe it’s in my head, but now I’m starting to notice my TV’s lag. This was really obvious against a really good Zangief fight I had earlier as his SPDs would stop my grabs just as soon as he landed. I’m starting to wonder if my links and RSF would be down pat if it wasn’t for this lag. More of a reason to buy a monitor I suppose.
In the mean time, I’m trying to level up my strategies. The players I’ve fought today are better than usual. Come to think of it, I’ve noticed that around midday is the best time for me to find good opponents. But anyway, I’ve noticed that I’ve become more nervous about doing XMas on my opponents.
1- close X is mixed results vs wake up. its all about who you play against. i can get ANYTHING against some… gotta pick n choose my wake pressure against better players
2- free matchups = no and never were… just people didnt know what to do. IMHO
idk… i mean, could be cool… but im already pretty f-in good at hiding my Q-Bomb charge and finding good times to start holding and whatnot. i dont think it would change shit really… i mean… vs fuerte would be the same, people would have to get used to more q-bombs per match, but it would still have the same answers. eventually, youd be pissed at accidental q-bombs.

You gotta turtle harder when you have a life lead. Lots of times the guy will just stand there fullscreen, waiting for you to run back into his range. He’s gambling quite a bit, but he knows the matchup enough that even if he guesses wrong 3 times, he’ll make you pay on the 4th. He’s really relying on you to screw up, just turtle hard and you can capitalize on him screwing up trying to catch you running away.
Can anyone help me with judging distance on Fuerte’s U1 because I’m getting tired of screwing it up and whiffing.
Does he literally have 3 distances or do you have to guide it somewhat? I like using U1 from time to time, but my control over it is awful
