I grew up in NB, but I had spent the last 5 or 6 years in Halifax, Going to university and then getting a job when that was finished.

What console do you guys do most of the playing on? PS3 or 360?
Mostly on 360, but there are a few PS3 players.
I usually do all of mine on 360 too, but With SFxT having the extra characters for the PS3 version, I pre-ordered my first ever fighting game for the PS3. Also the reason I bought a dual modded stick.
Good choice. I have used my qanba stick for a little over half a year. Its a pretty solid stick. I’m one of the few ps3 players in Edmonton.

Hahaha Yeah, I didn’t do it for the Cats, those things are a DafuQ! for me too. I did it for the hilarious “Megaman 1 cover art” Megaman. Piqued my curiosity to a whole new level.
Owning both systems, It honestly doesn’t make much difference to me which one of them I’m sticking a disc into, as long as I don’t have to use that god awful Dualshock3 controller.
I hope midlife crisis Megaman eventually goes cross-platform. Who knows? Maybe he’ll be top tier.

I work hours that don’t let me watch it live, but I did catch a bit of it Sunday afternoon. Team Tekken’s drama of racism and sexual harassment was entertainment for all the wrong reasons lol. And Dr Subzero is a sad loser there I said it lol, but yeah it’s okay. I’m personally hype as shit for it and can’t wait for the midnight launch tourney. I took launch day off to recover and play, maybe I’ll host games that day if nobody does anything Wednesday.
It’s funny, I saw the Launch tournament yesterday because I was thinking it would be amazing to go to one, but I’m on vacation right now so I’m back on the East coast. Won’t be back until the 7th, so I unfortunately wont be there. The girlfriend will try and take up all my time when I get back, but… well, she just might have to sit and wait patiently as I try and learn me some SFxT.
Yeah, I’m thinking it’ll be a NerdJosh win. Subzero is pretty lame and seemed genuinely salty after being eliminated. There is an interesting twist they have going on today, basically having them play to bring back an eliminated player while eliminating someone else.

Knowing Aris, he probably remembered to forget that.
I think my favorite part was when Spooky had to wear the horse head for swearing. Or when Arturo exposed Jago and Mike Ross for staging their money match.
I’m in the process of writing up the constitution (the list of rules and stuff) for the U of A group. When I’m finished I’ll post it here so that you guys can provide feedback. Do you think there would be issues with finding parking?
