No offense Sean but we were playing for Edmonton’s pride regardless of whether you guys cared or not. We are from Edmonton and hence playing for Edmonton it doesn’t matter if you get behind us or not in that regard.
It’s the same with the other 5v5’s we do against Calgary. Whoever makes it on those teams are representing this city regardless of who’s supporting them or not.

they play for edmonton and rep the edmonton scene not for literally everyone. in defense of “them”, they dont want edmonton to have a bad reputation when it comes to something they care about. and especially because they were playing against calgary theres already a rivalry. calgary may have gotten the better of us this time, but revenge is sweet.
I agree with that, when Gordan, Jon, Davisd, B and Quang played in the first 5 vs 5 for sf, they were playing for Edmonton. When Dean, B, Zac, David and my self played in mvc3 it was for Edmonton. We have had more than one 5 vs 5 and regardless of the game, it has always been playing for this city. Hell of it was Oilers vs Flames, it’s still Oilers playing for Edmonton regardless of who cares.
I didn’t care about the 5 vs 5 because I had Marvel and SF to worry about running. I am more than glad to help that shit go down by having the KOF guys come out and play in at the convention. There were quite a few people watching the 5 vs 5 and they were excited to see what was going on.
