#1 It was a joke, we never ban anyone or not let them enter. Obviously, you do have some insecurity issues considering how defensive u get on this subject, but thats ok, you are younger, we all were like that and it goes by over time. So let me clear it for u.

#3 I am glad that you keep a good track of your accomplishments of casual plays. I am guessing you do this to keep track of your progression and advancement. I am guessing you posted on the internet to tell what kind of a player you are but it basically means nothing.
#4 I never said I am a better player than you or anything like that. I never say I am better someone at all in the first place and I do not get pissed at you at all, I just have a good laugh at it. Person who gets very pissed at you is Kevin, not me. I dont know what you remember from that day but Kevin was the one who is bitching at you, I was the one who is telling him to calm down and telling him that is nothing but a game and how he cant bitch at other ppl about their teams. So i dont even know why you are so mad at me and going off FUCK THIS FUCK THAT on this forums. #5 Let me clarify your oh-so-called-accomplishments. Unless moe and jj shows up at CC with playing serious games. All me and cal and lee do is go random p-groove, or practice our lower tier teams. You usually do show up and play our teams with your a-groove sakura,blanka,bison2… Matter fact, for the last 2 years of cvs2, I personnaly do not remember you choosing any other character or groove ever and now let me tell you how the games goes. You beat our random teams, than we try with slightly higher tier, you do pull some wins, than somebody (either me or calvin … or kevin in the last friday) picks their real team and finish u … and YOU LEAVE… yes you heard me correct. You play 1 game, or 2 max, and u leave… I think the highest win streak you ever had that i saw was 4 games … it was last friday and 2 was off kevin (which is a person who hasnt played in years)…
and now some reality check. Considering how long u have been playing the same team, you have a horrible blanka and bison2 … You barelly land any Blanka or Bison CC’s or complete them. You can sho-sho just fine with Sakura and you can land it fine… If I were you, I wouldnt be so proud of beating me, considering how limited p-groove can be against a-groove but even than, soonest i pick cammy or chun-li , you are done once again because the only problem i have with p-groove is going through sakura due to you being able to land sho-sho … i have no problems against blanka or bison at all …
I never said I am better than you on the internet, I never said I am better than you in real life but I know the way you play like the back of my hand because u have been doing the same thing for the last 2 years. You can exploit sakura’s sho-sho, thats good for you. I can pick k-groove and start mashing your face with cammy like you wouldnt know but I wont, cuz I try not to exploit but with choosing a limited groove like P against A, i have to fair the game play with picking cammy and sagat…
and yes, roll activate does pwn me… After playing 30-40 games on a row against Moe and JJ in one night, the competitive level of the game goes so high that sometimes u fall for very simple stuff like roll activate or jump in super… its called brainfarting and patterns…
Nobody hates u minibok, nobody ever did, if we didnt like u, we wouldnt call u minibok, you are one of the guys who is accepted in the local SF scene. If we didnt like you or didnt care, we wouldnt talk to you a single word in real life and such. You dont know us that well, we dont know you that well either, so you dont know that all we say and do is jokes and nothing serious, so i understand you getting defensive like this.
I dont hate on why you choose your team too, you are eligible to play whoever you want. Just dont get cocky on the net or real life for being able to land sho-sho to a p-groove player.
When i lose, i get pissed at game, not you, i get pissed at not being able to get away from sho-sho, i get pissed at k-groove popping 3 lvl3 supers in one round where i cant even fill my meter. I never personally insult you. I never said “Minibok you fucking suck” in real life, I never will either.
Kevin bitched at you, not me. Dont get on my case. Its not my fault local SF community doesnt respect you as a player as much as you’d like them to be and classifies you as a scrub. That is not my fault or anybody else’s but yours. People might not like playing against you because they know how you play. To me yea, i get pissed if i lose you once or twice but than real teams around (which like i said, no more than 2 games), you lose and leave after playing one time as usual.
I am glad you keep a track of who u beat and how many times but If you want to get into that pissing contest, I think my calculator would blow up if i tried to calculate how many times i beat u.
You want to prove yourself ? Come out and play more than 2 games a night and lets see if you can win constantly or not. Beating random teams with top tier teams than leaving after facing a real challenge means dick all.

Let me say something:
I do not like playing teams that are not people’s best. To me, there is no point in beating someone who doesn’t try or use there best team. When you say real challenge, bring it on. That is the main reason I like playing Moe or JJ. And that’s why I want everyone including you to play your best team against me but if you choose not to, then that is your decision. I do not care if I lose. I Just want to play the best at their best.

shin akuma, it sounds like you’re trying to really step up your game. and that’s good. the best way to do that is to pick your team that you wanna get good at and play as hard as you can. but you gotta realize that not everyone else is gonna be like that. i personally HATE playing my best teams unless it’s for either money or for a tourney. you can’t expect everyone to have the same mentality as you.

i dont care about him playing his team at all … he can do whatever he wants man, i dont run the arcade or the game… JJ or Moe doesnt change their teams at all either, we dont bitch at them either, in fact, we strive for better players to play… Minibok has potential due to him playing the game for a long time. The reason he sucks is because like i said, HE LEAVES AFTER LOSING ONCE OR TWICE… i am not just talking last week … EVERYTIME … so he squeezes out a random team beating, than loses to a real team, than he leaves, everybody goes “what a scrub” … not my fault …

Have you ever considered the fact that I don’t have that much money to begin with? Whenever I go to CC, I usually have 10-15 bucks on me and 5 of that goes towards food. I do not have a job as of yet, thus it’s hard to get money for gaming. If I had like more money, yeah I’d play you guys until you leave. But it is pointless for me to stay if I have no more money to play you guys with anyway.
Let me say this:
If I had plenty of money… I would use as much of it as I could (or even all of it) to play you guys. Sure, if I get a couple of wins here and there and then I lose, I would play again as much as I could. I will only leave if:
- I have no more money left.
- I need to catch the bus
- I need to go somewhere else.
Otherwise, I’d stay there as long as possible, just to play you guys. But I can see where you are coming from. It’s true, I usually do leave after a couple of wins, but that’s because I most likely spent most of my money before you guys even get to CC.
I do not have much money but I try to get what I can. I would be more than happy to play you next Friday since I get Christmas and New Year’s money. And since I’ll have plenty of it, I won’t be leaving after a few wins this time.

Actually, no. I go early (right after school) and I get there about 4:20pm every Friday. There are other people who play CvS2 you know. I play Mark or Joe sometimes because they are already there or come early. You (usually along with Kevin or Calvin) usually don’t come until 7pm or later. Yes, you ae the only ones that play CvS2, but only after you actually get to CC. But whatever. If your going to CC on Boxing Day, then I’ll play you or whoever else. I’ll probably be there from 2-8
Oh and that $5 I was referring to was the $5 you say you supposedly spend max. in one nigt at CC.
get a part time job or save money and just go on fridays. i mean wtf its not hard to get 30 or 40 $ and go play.

personally i dont know y begginners would want to learn blanka. Blankas the hardest character to master, i think he should only be used once you’ve mastered cvs engine. Bison is hella gay… but i would recommened using him outside of A groove. Use him in c groove. That way your not relaying on his costums to get u by. Sak is pretty useless if u havent mastered RCs 100%. Once again id practise using her in c groove.
Learning how to do customs is one thing. But u do have to realize that u only will be using your custom for less then 5% of your match. So what do u plan to do during the other 95% of your match. Thats y newb’s get their ass pawned so easily. Learn how to use the character first. LEarn there match ups… combos… stun combos… mixups. Then learn CC’s.
Well thats my advice for getting good at CVS using a A groove team.

Good advice. I myself have stopped playing A-Groove at the moment and have picked up P-Groove. (P-Kyo/Sagat/R2-Cammy). For some odd reason, I seem to be doing alot better with P. I even managed to win against old man Fritz a couple of times and even a clutch. Me vs. Ben (Chinese Ben). We both have little next to no life left. He goes for a Tiger Raid but I parry it xx s.:hp: with Cammy) :tup:
so whens the edmonton tourney already
