this, theres a lot of small variables that are going to make good players worse or better, if you win you’re obviously a great player but on arcade machine i have say, a way way better chance of eliminating hold dat from the tournament, and players accustomed to jap sticks could have issues doing things like double tackles, the differences between arcade and ps2 (however slight) im unsure if cvs2 and marvel suffer ps2/dc differences from arcade.
i’m not saying its not a tournament or a big tournament, just that the results are not fully representative of skill and it shouldn’t qualify as a major because of how the scene changed.
plus everyones saying results dont count as a joke and its fun to join in.
