East Coast may be looking real cotton candy right about now but before Sandy has a chance to unleash all that meter we need to come up with a way to block her and uncurl that mustache.
Coming from a Florida native, number one thing of course is water and food and flashlights and stuff. Number two for sure: Battery operated TVs.
Also put a duct tape “X” over your windows. It doesn’t do anything, but I always thought it looked cool and lets the hurricane know that you’re tough as hell and not to mess with you.
East coast gets days of warning to take reasonable precautions before our natural disasters. Big chunk of the nicer parts of the west coast gets to play earth quake roulette every single moment of every single day. It’s just a pick your poison scenario.
Media coverage and paranoia on Sandy has pounded and whittled away my optimism. Now I’m scared. Hopefully we don’t lose power so I can at least play all the games I’m backlogged on to ride it out.
People are freaking out in my house we live in West Virginia.
My brother said “If the power goes out we’ll be with out power for a month” I just wanted to hit him. If the power goes out i can expect a few fist fights with him for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time.
