East Coast Might Get Rom'd by Sandy (post match up strats here)

So yea, if you haven’t heard:
http://weather.aol.com/2012/10/26/historic-frankenstorm-threatens-east-coast/?icid=maing-grid7|maing9|dl2|sec1_lnk3%26pLid%3D226368
Now you heard.

East Coast may be looking real cotton candy right about now but before Sandy has a chance to unleash all that meter we need to come up with a way to block her and uncurl that mustache.

Here’s a guide for NYC that I used as a starting point:

Also, hailstorm is to be expected from Storm.

If anyone has any useful info please post up.

Stock up on water and non-perishables peoples.

Don’t forget flashlights and batteries.

Coming from a Florida native, number one thing of course is water and food and flashlights and stuff. Number two for sure: Battery operated TVs.

Also put a duct tape “X” over your windows. It doesn’t do anything, but I always thought it looked cool and lets the hurricane know that you’re tough as hell and not to mess with you.

Meh.

that does not sound good :C

Man, I’m not ready for this.

NickGuy needs to get in position for a snapback.

Sent to the Internet with Smoke Signaltalk. Buy your matches and blanket in the Trading Outlet for $20 shipped. Firewood sold separately.

It helps keep the glass from shattering into a zillion pieces. Instead you get big pieces instead.

Im glad i moved to the Best Coast, East coast is free to mother nature.

East coast gets days of warning to take reasonable precautions before our natural disasters. Big chunk of the nicer parts of the west coast gets to play earth quake roulette every single moment of every single day. It’s just a pick your poison scenario.

I’m heading to NYC for the weekend in two weeks time. I hope Sandy is done PMS’ing by then.

Except it totally doesn’t do anything, and is nothing more than a old wife’s tale.

Also, buy more batteries than you think you’ll need, and see if you have enough board games. Very important stuff.

I’m two blocks from the water in Brooklyn watching over an ill family member. Wish us luck.

Hope everyone will be alright. Stay safe SRK.

I should have gotten that Vita.

Well, enjoying power while I have it, up here in New Hampshire.

…Where we’re apt to lose power for little to no reason in the first place.

Good luck, birfdey bro.

Blue ball comes slowly.

Media coverage and paranoia on Sandy has pounded and whittled away my optimism. Now I’m scared. Hopefully we don’t lose power so I can at least play all the games I’m backlogged on to ride it out.

People are freaking out in my house we live in West Virginia.
My brother said “If the power goes out we’ll be with out power for a month” I just wanted to hit him. If the power goes out i can expect a few fist fights with him for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time.

Be safe my east srk make sure to be safe and stock up on supplies.

and when you think you’re safe in the midwest you get your shit wrecked at random by tornadoes

this weather is getting serious. earthquakes in japan, record twisters, frankenstorms - mother nature is stepping up her game
