This is a very wonderful game, I play as Amun_Ra the slayer, currently 15th but from reading this it looks like there is a lot of game in store.
Are there any UI add ons to this game? I noticed in the youtube vids their UI looks much different. Also how have you guys setup your controls if playing with a pad?
Ran Vestibule Kings and Floating Castle masters with some guys, one of them got a Mountain Village Tonfa(;_;), which he gave to me for free(:D), and another got those red Selina’s Gauntlets(:[), which she sold to me for 50 k(:X), but all in all got two great fighter weapons when I just planned to log in and mess around for a bit.
I’ve had something like that happen too. I was PAAHHHHHTTTYYYY’d up with another Mage, who happened to give me a free avatar item. It was the black rimmed glasses. It wasn’t much, but who can argue with free.

That’s the majority of people on DFO. Occasionally though, you will find some really cool people. I’ve had someone offer me a Purple Broom Stick but I turned it down, due to my level being too low. If I find some good weapons, I will give them to who needs them. I’ve given away like 3 sets of Purple Gloves to some cool Fighters.
, I sooo want to say “PAAAAHHHHHTTTTYYYYY CAAAAAAAALLLL” in a dungeon and see what happens XD
TDP: yeah, fortunantely for me I’ve only partied with really cool people, but this may also be due to me soloing through most of the quests so far, it’s a stark contrast to rumble fighter and conquer online(the two mmos with the worst community I’ve ever seen)

what for? what is the point really? Do these people actually make real money off of the “rare items?”
same here. The one thing I don’t like among some of the groups would be the terrible slayers that expect me to heal them twice in a row. I don’t mind healing my mates but you going in without at least booting up your stats and before we reach the boss you are dead and want me to give you a handout?
^Akuma, you got my respect there, I highly doubt I could be a healtank crusader in this game with how people get popped, had to use one of my life tokens on someone who just rushed into a bunch of expellars(was in Vest Kings), didn’t mind at first because they were cool, but ended up being all out of life tokens(though she ended up being the one to sell me the gaunts so it evens out)
But I’m pretty sure there’s much more dicks than there are cool people.
And no, people don’t make real money off the rare items, but there’s price scalpers ahoy, I’ve seen a level 11 purple go for 100k in someone’s shop -_-, and avatar items in the beginning were crazy, usually a mill or more, but now people are dropping down to 500k or less, and for those I can understand seeing as how they cost real money, or Unique Items(legacy items maybe I’ll pay 300-400 k for, but not for a purple. :X)

What? I got dirt cheap avatar items in the beginning just by finding the right person at the right time. The price of avatar items also varies a LOT based on what ability they have (fast cast hats tend to go for like 5x the value of junk avatar items). Even then, on the second day after avatar stuff released, I snagged a fast cast avatar hairdo for like 250k. Just gotta be patient and look for the steals.
^You have good luck, as the first few days all I could find were 1mill avatar items :X
I really need to get another level, other than The Vestibule of Kings. It’s getting boring. The Floating Tower is too hard and Castellan’s Chamber is easier than Vestibule.
I always found floating castle to be easier than vest, too. The enemys have less tendency to just get up and attack you with super armor instantly.
Also, gonna play for a while, anyone at ~25 wants to do shit, send me a holler in game.
