I’d recommend that for whenever you’re partying with a majority of gunners as either BM or Asura.
So many throw zoom ups that tentacles rape me every time they actually decide to attack.
Even better when someone throws a thunder grenade while you’re still on the plants.
I just spent 1.2 mil on a casting speed avatar hat for my nen master.
It’s a steal compared to some prices I’ve seen (2.5mil!!!) but something makes me feel bad looking at my pitiful amount of gold left.

Just started the game, lvl 3 slayer. Are there in depth guides that someone can point me to?
I haven’t really seen any guides but check forums at dfo source or the dfo world wiki. It has a lot of knowledge about character skills and people at dfo source are very knowledgeable if you ask them.

Is it just me or are red cube fragments the rarest of the colors? I am progressing hella slowly towards my quota. Are there any faster ways to get red fragments, other than buying it from pples shops?
wave wheel slasher is a throw that is good to get those taus out of super armor so it’s good but rather weak compared to other throws. Before you get class change (since you respec at 18 anyways) it’s alright to experiment with all the skills because you can’t screw up at this point.
Triple slash and ashe fork are also widely used no matter what subclass you choose. The mobility you get with those skills is very good and they help you rush in there. Neutral wave is also a good poke if you wanna hit and run. Though slayers at really low level hit like they wield nerf bats.
edit: To get cubes I normally just do the quests that sharan and lorianne give you. The item disassembler barely gave me anything other than clear cubes unless it was a real rare item.
Red cubes are the rarest because you’re going to need them for your Awakening quest at 45. Save them as much as you can, buy them if you see them cheap.
Is the lvl cap 40 or 60?

Which is hilarious considering they already have the lvl 45 skill programmed in.
