Downloading this now and we’ll be on soon. Always love mages when playing RPGs so I’m plan on going Elemental Mage, will post IGN later.
Anyone want to play with me? I’m a Lv. 10 fighter right now.
This game would be even better with a pad, I think. I should try using JoyToKey and see if I can manage something.
So actually we are still in beta?
Soo…I think I’m gonna go back to levelling Gambino(slayer) for a bit, as I do not feel like fucking grinding in Vestibule of Darkness to get Teppu to 24, that dungeon is fucking stupid. So any thoughts on going Berserker vs a Weaponlord(whoops meant Weaponmaster ;D)?
The grind in vest is probably worse than the one at 26 since you don’t have floating castle.
Berserkers with frenzy at 35 just do insane damage. There not too slow either if played right. There blood pillar with that delayed explosion does awesome in combos, and it works if the other player rushes in and gets too greedy (I found out the hard way that the pillar still activates even if you interrupt and launch the berserker after start-up). The downside to them is that in pve the’ll run through health because it’s like mp to them.
Weapon master’s have rather crazy combos, though I mostly fight beam sword weapon master. They have some hard hitting skills and nasty ass combos. I personally think from the weaponmasters I fought that can lead into a combo easier than a berserker (Even though it is mostly the player, a lot of the skills in the blade master tree has a lot of mobility and leads into combos). Most of the time if you get hit by an aerial chain slash you’ll probably going to get juggled.
^Thanks for the breakdown six , yeah I was watching weaponmaster’s juggling on youtube, crazy shit, though the berserker definitely isn’t a slouch either
and yeah Vestibule is a fucking bitch, and I’ve run out of quests save the “get ss rank one” which is fucking disastrous >_<
I could help you run it later. Since I’ll be on at 5 est. My nen master has it easy in vest and I’m basically helping my little brother run some vest quests and I just helped him with that 3 kings shit. Though the only snag is that we gotta have a decent connection because vest is buggy as hell.
Lol I’m on that 3 kings shit XD
they are releasing the game a little bit at a time, as far as being able to level up past 40, more characters, more items, and more stages
I want to lvl a striker and brawler, but I think I want to wait on the male verof brawler. Love the grappler and monk. The monk seems so weak like u said earlier tho. When and what us this priest patch I keep hearing about
Priest patch comes in Act 3 (we are in act 1). IIRC Act 3 took several years to come out in Korea, so hopefully we will not have to wait that long.
Priest patch makes all Priest character much better, but it primarily improves the Magical Exorcist and makes Exos total badasses in PvP with some nice new skills and more super armor. Monks lose the will driver passive skills and they are replaced with actual good skills that give passive buffs to punch types. They also get several new attack skills under lvl30.
I don’t know all the details but the consensus is that the priest patch makes them competitive with the other classes and improves all their jobs in general. It will likely be quite a while before we get it
It’s funny when my friend plays his phys/magical Exo hybrid and just trolls himself by playing against Gunners. I keep asking himself why he keeps doing that to himself.
new witch PvP strat
magic missile and run away, opponent jump in = SCRUB DA GROUND (except vs priest)
Yeah dude Mechanics are pretty stupid in PvP. You get knocked down once, and kiss 80% of your life goodbye. That shit is bonkers. I guess the tradeoff is that if you nail them with a good combo, they’re pretty much done too, but still…
So I’ve been playing my Brawler more nowadays, it’s lvl 30 now. Can’t wait to get the net so I can web fools up like Spiderman :karate:
I think I’ve come up with a simple solution of how to make pvp with mechanics at least slightly easier. Wear leather armor. Sure you don’t get the MP bonuses and INT bonuses, but you now get significantly more defense, effectively increasing your life a lot. I’m gonna try it out, I’ll let you guys know how it ends up working.
What class are you testing that on murphagator? I’m a nen master and when I started pvping on her at lvl 20, cloth was a liability because I didn’t really have any spells and got hit for quite a bit more and didn’t use a lot of mp at that level.
Even now at lvl 29, my level 21 asura in plate armor has more defense than her. But as I got higher and higher the cloth gives cast speed and intelligence. That can make or break some of the stuff you wanna pull off later because I actually use those two stats MUCH more frequently now, instead on relying on fighter basics.
Which made me sort of wish that asuras had some cloth mastery instead of relying on avatars for cast speed. The plate defense is nice and all but I rather sprint around and start throwing waves in peoples face without having to drop some dough or millions of gold.
Ok so I have a Ranger in the making and I’m trying to do part two of the awakening but it requires that I beat Grak with 70% style. How should I go about doing this? I’m level 18 and enemies either A. don’t live long enough to get styled on or B. King’s road is too much for me to handle.
Is there an “efficient” way to get a lot of style points, finding good guides (ANY guides, in fact) for this game is hard as hell.
When you’re that high, just take off your weapon and mash forever.
You can unequip your weapon. It makes it a lot easier to combo them so they don’t die. I don’t know any infinites you can abuse for a gunner like the fighter has but just spam whatever ona single enemy and remember to mix it up with aerials. You can also get a friend and try kings or just unequip both your weapons. Dual combos get style mad easy.
I was primarily only thinking of doing it for mechanic, and ONLY for pvp purposes. Casting speed is not a huge issue for mechanics, and in PvP, mp is rarely a limiting factor (save maybe for mages with maxed mana shield). Plus, mechanics retain their leather mastery, so you still get some bonuses, if not quite the ideal ones (attack speed and crit chance, instead of mp, mp regen, int, and cast speed). In PvE, skill spam is FAR too important for mechanics to neglect the mp gain.
Maybe all this will change once I get higher as mechanic and have even more skills to pump out. For now, it doesn’t matter, since my mechanic has literally no leather armor at the moment.
