Dungeon Fighter (new MMO from Nexon)

Join up and request a guild invite there, or PM me here, or mail me in game, or whatever.

Guild is almost level 4 and we’ve got spots open. We’re on friendly terms with the goon squad guild so there’s almost never a shortage of PVP. I’ll be making a guild post as soon as I recover the gigantic one I wrote a few months ago from my backup disc image.

Any senior guild member can throw you invites. Which is basically anyone in IRC / from SRK already in the guild.

This game is definately NOT centered around cash shop items. Though if you get into the game you will find it helpful to spend a minimal amount of real money in the game to buy items like shop licences and things like that. It’s definately focused more on the actual gameplay then having to shell out real money for good items.

For those who still need guild invites, you can msg me RollCancel, DoctorJ, or HungryHippo.

so i’m lazy and haven’t hopped on in 3ish weeks. Do people who were even on that long list of guild members have to hop on to get the invite? cause i’ll hop on just for that if need be.

I got work to get done so I’m not going to get any sleep and have computer availability so I can hop on DFO for a sec if you need an invite.

You must accept the invite when the message box appears on your screen, so yes, you must be online.

Speaking of avatar gear, any of you guys got some extra Slayer avatar gear?

Careful when you’re buying stuff right now.

i actually got hit with that yesteryday.

Lost 13 mill…

Luckily you lost only 13mil, people who were carrying ~300 million and tried to buy a fucking clear cube got fucked.

glad I never will get hit with that since I have yet to even break 1mill.

I want to keep playing but the damn game keeps minimizing whenever I start it up. It takes like 20 clicks or so to get the game to actually play on my screen. Anyone have an idea how to fix this? I’m on Win7 64bit btw.

hmm depends on how you play the game and what you want from the game.
I would say it kinda is centered around cash shop items as to how they make money.

I mean sure there is the forums and shoutouts to sell things but they aren’t as reliable as a trading license.

I played this game without buying NX for about 4 months and I was pretty much poor for most of the time.
But I mean I had fun playing even with that. Without NX, it is very hard to make money from my experience.
(Yea I am a cheap bastard)

Everyone wants to make money in the game so most ppl buy a trading license for that.

The drop rate is very low and the economy right now keeps dropping. It is hard to sell stuff for a decent price nowadays.
Some things that sold for 30 mil sell for 3 mil now.

Seems only Ava and perhaps cubes sell for decent prices nowadays.

If you are hardcore pvp, then you need alot of money to compete but this game pvp system is broken anyways.
IF you are PvE, then the game doesn’t require as much as AI is mostly dumb anyways.

IDK pwnage machine, I have windows 7 win 32 bit and I am fine.

How are you starting the client. Browser or through browserless client? What kind of keyboard do you use? What background programs are running? Etc.

A lot of factors come into play in that kind of situation. Most likely you have a program open that’s causing that.

You can still make money in this game and pyramid up, btw. At most- you only need to spring hard dollars for a shop license. If you have roots in any other Nexon game, you can simply transfer NX through your account. A lot of the really rich players at the start of the beta had roots in MapleStory. I started by disassembling all of my items I couldn’t sell and sold cubes at a cheap rate. I liquidated everything I possibly could until I could afford something worth reselling and studied the market constantly. I found items priced way lower than normal and resold them. You can even gamble at making upgraded weapons and selling them like Akuma did.

If you guys want a guild invite you have to actually be online.

Vega, send me text version of you know what via pm.

pwnagemachine, submit a ticket via Nexon forums.

Aside from guild ids and srk ids, people need to start posting their irc ids as well.

Just make a new account. Don’t use any modifications and you might want to stop testing exploits because even if you really only have legit intent you will still get banned.

Hey is there still room left?? I still got that sould bender lol.

i highly doubt i got banned over an exploit i used one time a month earlier, especially when it did nothing to change the code whatsoever. and besides if i started playing again it’s only going to be in my old account or in the japanese version

SRK members got priority, hit up IRC and let us know when you need an invite. You must be online to receive and accept an invite.

Although I have been rarely on, even not using the shops I paid for (and not just because I’m ballin outrageous), I haven’t seen you on. Did you get banned again? If you’re getting errors, do what I told you last time. Completely uninstall the game and filter out the registry if anything remains. Do a full clean download and install. Don’t use any third party applications to play the game nor to start the game. Everything should be fine.

DFO is about to get a huge revival. We’re getting female gunners in about a week.

THis game economy sux. HArd to make money. I still play tho. Need to get a char in the SRK guild I suppose.

I played this game for a bit a few months ago, pretty fun.
Only problem was didn’t have friends to play with and gets kinda repetitive and was a little lost.

Having friends makes things a lot more fun. How did it get repetitive? Try new characters, new builds. Try a little pvp. If you get lost SRK will help you find your way if you want.

Hit up irc and ask for an invite. It’s easy to make money. I think what you meant to say was you need to make sacrifices, playing the game vs playing the market. When I just started, I was just playing the game. I didn’t have items and didn’t really care much and even though people told me to play the market last year I told them that if I were to play the market that I wouldn’t be playing the game and that I was godlike at economy, regardless if it’s real life or just a game. Some broke players pissed me off so I decided to play the market to shut them up for a little. I made around 600 million in just one week when advanced just hit. The sacrifice was significant though. You can’t do a single dungeon, because any time you spend doing a dungeon, you can spend doing a shop run. Nexon nerfed drop rates so farming dungeon runs is pointless relative to playing the market. Even if you do decide to do a dungeon run, as a merchant, you’ll feel like playing the game is pointless, because you should be leveling up in the market instead. Not going to lie, I got addicted to being a merchant, so I quit DFO in early March. I started playing again a little recently, and even though I paid for a shop, I’m intentionally staying away from it so I could enjoy playing the game. Now, when I log on, I don’t feel the need to rush or an obligation or duty to do something. The only person from SRK that has reached my level is Vegavak, so I’m sure he understands exactly what I’m saying and I’m sure he’s aware of this psychological limitation that, as a merchant, he has placed upon himself as well.
