It won’t trade, you’ll just eat a jump in.

A safe jump is timed to hit you on your first hittable frame after wakeup with their last hitting active frame of the jump in. Dudley is vulnerable during HP JU start up and it starts in 3f. That’s 2 frames you can be stuffed in before HP JU will hit anything.

shit man, HP jet upper 3 frames is a hugeee change. Ultra 2 is much stronger now since HP Jet upper is 3 frames. 2EX bars and U2 stocked= come back if you get too crazy.

So everything ryu punishes on block and DPs dudley could do the same as long as the opponent isn’t using an active ON going move like Rufus EX Messiah kick.

I’m actually happy because his DP/sweep may be viable OS’s for backdash now. It’s like Capcom actually listened, holy shit.

The fact we got a Reliable, easy to go towards punisher that causes knock down comes out 3 frames and can be mashed during successful block strings that they have to think twice about using and better use it for spacing.

Reliability that’s what we really need.

[Jet Upper]: Startup of light and medium versions changed from 6F to 5F, heavy version changed from 4F to 3F.

So gdlk man, mpju goes so much further than lp and hp, from a wrong range bad rogs would get s.hk > pwned, but there is a range that only hp.ju catches, now mpju hits for 140 damage single hit and can be fadcd just like hp.ju, my friend will shed a tear lol, it might even catch a smash that right now is safe vs Dudley, this is just hella good for this matchup, they will have to rely on TAP way more for focus, allowing you to get in faster.

I’m just excited for punishing Dash straight on block alot better now for A KNOCK down, not some cheesy ass st.lp into lp MGB that does about 90 dmg. lol, now we got that sexy HP Jet upper solid ass damage.

Dudleys turtle game just got a ton better now.

I hope these changes stick plus some shit to help stay in when we get in.

cr.mk and jet upper 3 frame made my day… I’m timing everybody out until they get wreckless.

HP jet upper will be like 80% of my knockdowns when punishing moves on block. I just hope it won’t make my timing moves like reaction ST.HK lack tho lulz

Hahahaha I’m still overexcited because I play against a really good Balrog, punishing A REALLY bad lp straight is very hard online, I forgot to read the changes on HPJU rofl, yeah lol jetupper goes further than shoryukens I’m almost sure, we might even catch some far than shoryuken can straights, punishing almost safe stuff now will be guaranteed, lol, there is more stuff I’m sure, but only Balrog came to my mind right now. a lot of moves are -3 I guess.

i have barely touched AE since MvC3 came out… i just hated the uphill battle using dudley and the game was not fun like it used to and the only new ae characters that interested me were yun and yang but because of their freshness, top tier wise, i knew i’d be another statistic… anyways…

i saw the recent list and it looks good in theory so far… is c.mk combable now? also what are the possible combos? also 3 frame srk is good news.

8 frames is Ultra start up so however you would combo into Ultra is how you combo into sweep.
