Dudley's v.2012 balance changes. (BETA)

or under a bridge
or in the middle of the jungle
you can press back + taunt in hopes that someone will hear it.

After seeing Vega’s extra changes, I’m guessing this will be our changes…

Capcom: We buffed more neutral jumping normals and fixed Thunderbolt so people stop falling out mid way.

They should change dudley’s cr.hk juggle properties to make the first sweep bounce the character higher, the second sweep to go as high as the first one before the patch, and the third to remain the same for the cr.hk>cr.hk>cr.hk combo so its easier to land on ALL characters (third cr.hk is only juggable by ultra and super). This would also have to make blah>exmgb>cr.hkx2 easier to combo but still only have ultra juggle after the second cr.hk.

As a nerf to sort of even it out, the cr.hk should make them fly back a little farther so mid screen combos are a little shorter and you can’t do walk>ultra 2 after the sweep or anything like that

They should just reduce the recovery of crHK

It’ll make crHK x3 easier (not that it’s hard now imo)
It’ll make safer on block, making it a better to use poke (it’s +1 or some shit in 3s)
It’ll make more characters hit by EX MGB crHK x2

A one frame link after a meaty hit mid juggle (otherwise impossible) is easy?wtf

Characters fall at different rates (as evident by EX MGB crHK x2 whiffing on some)
There’s no way the last crHK in crHK x3 is a 1 frame link if the 2nd crHK is hit meaty enough. It’s so much easier than EX MGB crHK x2 AND works on everyone.

Because It’s much harder to make the Sweep hit meaty after EX MGB than after a sweep, because sweep launches a bit higher than EX MGB.That’s why it’s easier after sweep than ex mgb.I guess if timed absolutely perfectly, so that the 2nd sweep hits last frame meaty, it could probably be like a 2framer or something, but in most cases when it hits meaty, it’s a one framer after.

My Dudley must be absolutely perfect if that’s the case. :sunglasses:

[Short Swing Blow]: On hit, medium and heavy versions do additional 2F of hit stun, giving Dudley +2F total.
[Ducking Upper]: Startup changed back to what it is in existing SSFIV AE.
[cr.MK]: Startup changed from 10F->8F and active frames lengthened from 5F->6F, making it a better poking tool.
[Rolling Thunder]: First hit will not connect against airborne opponents, but from 2nd hit onwards there is additional hit detection against airborne opponents.

wow dudley cr. MK is 8F startup and 6 frames active, its a legit sweeping poke now! does the rolling thunder change means it AAs now?

No need, just do HP and trade, ducks to 1/4 or 1/3 damage life.

HP JU is not start up invincible.
