This is just a stylin question, when you stun som1, can you rose toss and keep the combo going after it? I think one time i rose toss a stunned person and did EX JU and i think it linked but not sure

Does trip guard in this game work like in all the other ones it’s been implemented in?

OH and I just remember, Desk/Biffotasty used a meaty rose to set up unblockable U1 before they were removed.
I don’t know how other games work, in SF4 if you do an attack you lose trip guard and have 2 frames on the ground where you can’t block. If you empty jump you have no recovery whatsoever on landing except if you jump again immediately your jump is throwable and you can’t do normals/throw for 4 frames.
Dam, unblockable U1 setup with rose, why would they take it out, its only during a stun situation in which they would get hit wid U1 str8 up after stun anyway for same dmg…should’ve kept it for maximum stylin lol

Also, when you guys do Dart shot (F HK) what do you like to combo with afterword/what feels the easiest?
I’m trying to debate if jab or st HK is the better option. It seems that
lp-hk-ex mgb-duck upper
hk-ex mgb-duck upper does the exact same amount of dmg or VERY close
so i’m thinking that jab might be the better route…
Also, always just go for st hk for max dmg after F MK?
I feel like the only combos i need with him are
cr hp-hk
f mk-hk
cr lpx2-hk
cr lk-cr lp-hk
overhead-cr lp-hk
and cr lk-st mk TC into lp jet to either u2 or hp jet.
Thoughts?
cr.lp/f.mk -> cr.lp/f.mk/cr.mp/s.hk xx lk ducking/s.hp. cr.lp -> f.mk is the best in my opinion but if they’re hardcore jab mashers you need to do cr.lp -> s.hk.
after dart shot, if your good wid 1 frame links then go for st. HK, but in the heat of battle, you might wanna be safe and just LP, st.HK after dartshot depending on the situation.
st. HK after f+MK is hard if your just hit confirming from f+MK, your reactions gotta be on point, then your good.
You should just know every max dmg combo and not just rely on a couple because you have to adapt to different matchups in which your openings to start combos will be different depending on the matchup.
TIP: get your frametrap game down and be able to reaction to a counterhit right when it happens during your frametrap.
training mode random block sort of helps your reactions if your not playing against a person
If you do a meaty f.hk there’s no reason not to do a s.hk because it can be like a 3 frame link meaty.
I do cr.lp after dart shot as a way to “hitconfirm” myself hitting the link lol. It’s just as easy as st.hk though.
