I would say tha only target combos that are useful are st. Lp xx st. MP and cr. LK xx .st MK, first one for the marn special and second one for okizeme mixup and special move cancelable leading to big dmg if you have U2 or cornering them. The St.lk,St.mk,St.mp,St.hp cacnel to super just seems to scale, plus they aren’t forced to chose high or low to block a st. Lk IMO.

I disagree with Marn’s combo. All that does is scale the damage like crazy, yet look really cool.

Marn’s combo gives you the opportunity to reset them with an overhead after the target combo if they are sleeping.

Target combo -> super always will do less damage than link combo -> super.

Yup the overhead reset is nasty if you pull it off, but the best combo into super is f+mk, st. Hk xx LP JU, Ducking straight xx super, and you can add j. HP to beginning as well

So I just played a match against a random Ibuki and had something odd happen. The Ibuki opened herself up for a punish so I go for cr fr> sthk, miss the timing on the hard kick and the Ibukis mashed ultra (command grab) comes out. My HK comes out and just stuffs it like it was a normal. Anyone know what happened here? Or is Ibukis command grab ultra just not as powerful as a Gief or Hawks (ala Guy)?

cr. fr probably pushed you out of her throw range. the pushback on that move is pretty bad. her whiff animation is probably what got her hit by your st. hk

yup, her U1 isn’t that good if you got reactions, seems you were just out of range and the st. Hk was hella meaty

Yeah I think the st.HP put me at a good distance and I pressed HK before the ultra flash so it came out immediatly after the flash. So can it be punished on reaction?

i have managed to do reversal EX DP to counter but your reactions have to be on point, i also backdashed out of full animation so i only get hit by the crappy orb which isn’t that much dmg, if you are anticipating the ibuki to do it you can do instant over head HK to stuff it.

Very true, I’m just stating that’s what I do. I’m not a tournament player, as you can tell. It’s just an extremely easy target combo, that is even easier to super off of.

You shouldn’t be worried by an Ibuki that uses Ultra I as they can’t be too good. Like a Ryu that picks Ultra II. Even Ibuki’s ultra II has crap invincibility.

The only target combo that does good damage is f. MK st MK st. HP.

The rest barely do over 100 dmg.

Not sure what thread but I thought I saw someone say you can link off a CH st FP.

Is this true? Sounds like it would have to be a meaty hit.

You can, but only a jab if you don’t meaty and this is dependent on how close you are to the opponent when you throw standing fierce out of course.

How frames does a CH add? +3 always? or is it different per move?

I had heard a while ago that heavy moves added +4, but it’s at least +3.

Has anyone compiled a list of things Dudley can punish on block with his specials/Ultras?
