I’d still use Rolling thunder because, while EX duck upper/straight might punish the same thing as rolling thunder, rolling thunder, let us not forget, deals 500 dmage which is HUUUUUGGGEEE.And i love that big damage.Ex duck should also make easier to substitute Corkscrew in juggles, as lp dp ~ex duck straight ~ lp mgb should be possible.Again, I am basing ALL of this on the fact Capcom has stated that you can cancel ex duck into straight/upper from the 3rd frame, so if this isn’t true, don’t blame me,i’m hype too for it and hope it’ll be true. :smiley:

Also I’ve been told EX Duck beats Adon’s Jag kicks (ground and air) on reaction.

This is big since now it’ll probably beat tons of wake up in theory. If EX Ducking cant be grabbed then oh boy.

Played AE today, Might I say Dudley is a fine character. His air to air roundhouse knockdown is so useful! I didn’t drop combos either which surprised me, it feels smoother linking off the dart shot overhead.

I couldn’t utilise EX duck very much today but I’ll give it try tomorrow.

If airborne rolling thunder doesn’t connect. Like with blanka balls on block or wake up ex psycho crusher on block. Your timing has to be just right. Too early it won’t connect and too late it will be blocked. Plus I’ve had issues on kick back with it. The first hits connect but the last leading to full animation don’t.

If wall bounce is legit off ex duck straight then hypothetically you can go into ultra2. I know it’s a big if but if what I am saying holds true I’ll take the gurranteed combo damage. It may be just me but I find myself with ultra1 waiting for a chance to use it instead of using dudleys footsies to get in.

Can you please check to see if the rose taunt has been buffed? I’m really curious about this and surprised we haven’t gotten any info on this yet (unless I missed it somewhere).

I tried the rose taunt once yesterday and it seemed the same to me however I didn’t use it in 3S fashion. I’ll certainly give it a try.

So far guys Dudley’s worst match up in AE for me is Fei Long, hands down. That guy does too much damage for zero meter.

Rose taunt getting buffed was kind of just here-say/speculation/rumour etc. So I was just curious to see what became of that. It wasn’t on the official change list, so if you tried it yesterday and noticed nothing different than it’s probably just the same. But you could always try it again just to be sure (and stylish).

Try and see if ex duck upper/straight punishes whose sweep (ryu,ken,akuma,chun, balrog -basically characters that that sweeps around -6 to -13 on block) and tell us which version (straight or upper or both) punishes which character’s sweep.

Test if Honda headbutt is punishable by EX Duck Straight or EX Duck Upper

And try juggling ex duck whatever (straight or upper) after jab jet upper.

Yeah, Dudley doesn’t take damage after EX CC. I don’t know about white health though because of the brightness. This is definitely a good buff, too.
