I don’t use Ryu or Ken…I didn’t say Dudley wouldn’t be beast I just said Target combos aren’t exactly what going to push someone like Dudley to the top tier. Why the hostility in calling me a noob or some other pathetic insult when i didn’t insult anyone. I thought this topic was for gentlemen not ass holes.
name one target combo in SF4 that is worth using.
nobody uses kens target combo because they can just use roundhouse instead to reduce the scaling.
Guiles target combo is pretty shit too.
Chun-Li can land her full ultra off of hers; assuming someone lets you jump in on them. 
It’s a shame that the way damage scales will mean a lot of Dudley’s most-fun combos in 3s are now pointless.
Yeah…add scaling to the equation…and anything after 3 hits is semi-pointless.
The inputs for all of Dudley’s moves are identical to 3S, apart from Thunderbolt which was already replaced by Cross Counter in 3S, so they made it a charge move. A much improved version of Thunderbolt from 2I as well.
Unless they drastically change the properties of Target Combos to only count as one move for scaling purposes, they will remain as oft used as Ken’s.

He seems to have a few 3-hit target combos, not really any different from using link combos 'cept it’ll probably be a bit easier and do a bit more damage due to not being jab>jab>jab :bgrin:

I don’t see why not, the only moves that don’t seem to have EX versions are ones that aren’t able to because they already use multiple buttons… x_x;;
From these movelist pics, it seems that Ibukis DP+P doesn’t have an EX version though 
Kind of makes sense though, what exactly are you going to do, make the moonsault jump travel further / hone in / be invincible on start up or something? None of those are really that applicable to the move, y’know? I doubt her command dash can be EX’d either, though that you could certainly give some amount of invincibility.
Rufus’ Target Combo is useful because it is his only way to launch into Ultra without EX. Dudley does not have that issue.
Duck has no EX version.
I didn’t play much SF3, did Dudley always have so many target combos?
it seems kinda like anyone could pick him up, mash some buttons and get one out.
