I’m hoping you can get enough juggle time after Dudley’s super for a Corkscrew Cross–nothing would be more satisfying than mid-footsie game, anticipating that hadouken, ducking it into an upper cancelling into a super and juggling with ultra. Or a low short > low short, stand and take a step forward (as if to tick throw) then roundhouse short swing blow > super > ultra ^_^;;.
I just think about Dudley in third strike, and how much he’ll be able to fuck with people in footsies in 4’s engine haha.

Gen’s super > ultra combo annoys me, since it being an exception allows there to be other exceptions, and thus Dudley could have super > ultra, which renders any Theory Fighter I used pointless. Though, thinking about it, his would probably scale really badly, where as Gen has quite a few hits. So, even if super > ultra is possible, it may not be the best idea, depending on how you combo’d into super.
I actually thought that too, but the guy is legit every SF character is somewhat linked to some sexual orientation he went on to say and only Lesbians play as Makoto… Don’t know where people come up with this stuff.
How is Gen’s super to ultra in any way shape or form an exception? And number of hits has absolutely nothing to do with damage scaling.

Midscreen? Can you hit-confirm low pokes into jab uppercut and link ultra, midscreen, with no meter?

Dhalsim, Ryu, Guile, Ken, Sagat, and Dan can do it as well

Yeah, and if Rog’s ultra connected for full damage off that setup, it’d be pretty crazy too. It seems like Dudley’s triggers a cinema on hit one, so it’ll always hit full damage.
Just seems too good for me, is all. If the damage is utter crap on Corkscrew Cross ALL the time (Sakura’s ultra, eg), then maybe it’s not so bad. I don’t want fishing for jabs and hit-confirming into ultra to do Ryu jab jab, DP FADC ultra damage for no meter.
I guess we’ll see. In the end, I have no problems with Dudley being strong, I just don’t want him to be braindead fishing for a super easy combo whenever he gets close (like Rog!).
But Gen’s is the only one that’s applicable and useful in any situation.

I thought people have said Corkscrew Cross doesn’t get full cinematic on juggle but the damage is still pretty good…?
