If any of you have a capcom-unity account I would definantly suggest voting up my suggestion for the return of the original 3S voice actor for Dudley. Who knows if it could make a difference or not but at least they know if they decide to make it an update in DLC, or for another iteration.
It’s the top suggestion in the SFIV section and almost the entire suggestion box.
And maybe if it’s not too much to ask will the OP support this as well and edit this into the OP? Thanks if you will.
this should be the motto for SRK. i pick character’s because i think there cool. i picked sakura and cammy when sf4 first came out. now i use e honda
The original voice actor quit around the year 2000…

This marks 2004 as his last commercialized work, I’m willing to bet he will still be available.

I’m sure that was the first person Capcom contacted to see if he’d be interested in returning. Just deal with the new voice. It sounds British enough. Keep it classy!
Oh I didn’t know that, it’ll be cool for Capcom to do a DLC or even fix it before the game releases, but I think Dudley’s voice right now is good enough.
Does it hurt to suggest it to capcom? There has been no public announcement so far, so we’ll bug them untill they make up an excuse.
And the current VA is OK, but OK isn’t good enough for some people :). It is acceptable though.

(referring to Thunderbolt) Yeah I can’t say I lost interest in Dudley when I saw this move, but when I heard from someone its a charge move…THAT broke my heart. 
It better not be useful 'cause I dont want to learn charge moves just for thunderbolt. I cant stand charge characters.
Dudley with a charge move? I play Alex (3s) who is a hybrid character with qcf type and charge moves so it can’t be too bad…
there should me more hybrids

Is Logan-sama ever comin’ back? Hate to be prissy about this, but I wanted to see if he had any info on what Dudley’s Focus Attack is like. Yeah, I actually had a gameplay question. I know, I’m a freak.
I’m putting down bets it’s a haymaker or some kind of over the shoulder hook. Probably a slow startup, I am not expecting it to be too good.
About capcom changing Dudley’s VA. it’s not happening. First of all, they already payed one of the voice actors, second, it would be an utter disrespect to the current VA if they just told him:

It’s not like they would have to tell him, the VA himself probably just cares about getting paid, not like he follows this game at all.
Look, seriously, Francis did a great job in 3S but can we please just move on? Capcom almost certainly tried to get him in, but he’s not doing it for whatever reason. He’s just not doing it.
The sooner you stop sippin’ that hatorade the sooner you can start to see the new charm of Dudley. He might not sound as ‘passionate’ as the 3S VA but I think that’s the point. To this Dudley, the fight is just afternoon sport. He’s enjoying himself. That’s what I feel when I listen to his tone, anyway. He’s doing what he does every day: Ruining your shit, looking good whilst doing it, and heading home on his private chopper in time for tea and english muffins. It’s no biggie to this Dudley.
Besides, you are not getting rid of my “Keep it classy!”.
