the thing is Mr Gotch already stated that dudley can SSB FADC ultra1 as the normal short swing blow (not ex) doesn’t launch so the whole nobody can do something like that in SF4 (excluding dan) goes out the window already and thats why i asked about this combo (well that & i remembered that dudley can do it in 3s with ducking upper canceling into SA2)
EDIT: dam i just found that post he said its the only move that combos into full U1 so i guess he tried ducking upper/straight already.

It seems like looking for FADC combos with Dudley isn’t really going to be important anyway. Save the meter for his super. And for situational EX usage as I’d imagine an ex mgb will punish a blocked blanka ball and other things of that nature.
He’s not gonna be easy. You’re really gonna have to fight to get in against low pokes. In 3S I had a horrendous time getting in on Urien, Ken and Chun unless I parried low. And the thing with blocked target combos is they push you back while dealing no chip so you have to play footsies from near neutral again. Execution will be easier than it was in third strike, but you’re gonna be focusing a lot on hit confirming, getting in safely and mixups, along with proper timing.
Mr. Gotch, I remember you saying he can combo Corkscrew cross off of EX Cross Counter. Is that still true and what’s the damage looking like on it?
thanks but real talk the combo actually looks like that in 3s, if you have it fire it up and do st.roundhouse xx ducking upper xx Super2 it is the ippo combo and i want to be able to pull that off in super and have a huge smile on my face lol.
i guess if i can figure out a practical way to land cutscene U2 i can be like first hit “stolen your time” and second hit “ko blow!”
Are you questioning whether Ultras don’t break armour or using one such to break armour?
Dan’s Ultra doesn’t break armour, Cammy’s, Fei’s, Ryu’s also but the majority of them are multi-hit they’d eat through it. Just that Gouken’s parry would hit you out of them.

DUDE, dudley killed him in three freaking combos in the first round. Thank god both of them were decent. It seemed like the Balrog knew what he was doing, and the Dudley really didn’t, but he still beat him. Boxer was rushing him down like crazy. and it seems like Dudley’s FA has decent range…at least a lot better than Boxer’s. I’ve been waiting for a decent clip like this. I can’t believe how much f.mk xx ex mgb > duck upper did…that was like 30% of his health.
