Getting the analogue sticks off is a real pain though. They are soldered onto the board and the solder isnt possible to extract all the solder with just a solder iron and solder pump, am trying something else now.
why are you taking the analogs off? most people just leave them on if you take of the pods for the analogs you have to replace them with some resistors to neutralize the analog
Because they dont revert back to neutral and both keep pressing down the entire time. So the only use this gamepad can have now is to become a sacrificed controller pcb, with analoge sticks removed and resistors added, already bought the resistors :).
I see well if you are having issues removing the analogs you could remove the analog gears/mechanism plug the controller into your pc and see if you can adjust the pods to register neutral then glue them in place
Im looking at it and even when nothing is touching the analogue stick, it is still wiggling about in the game controller properties tab. So I dont think glueing things down will make a difference. Tomorrow ill try other stuff like a saw or something, if it wrecks it then fine, it is useless if it doesnt work anyways.
edut: I managed to rip off just the variable resistor thingies. wooit,
I meant maybe you could adjust the pod so its neutral then glue it in place.
if its just the right analog its not an issue but left has to be neutral if not your fighter will be all over the place.
