I didn’t mean to come off arrogant, but what I find funny is that everyone keeps mentioning Amsterdam like it’s the only city in the Netherlands. Even IF you visited Amsterdam, you probably only smoked from the tourist shops and most of them make you pay way too much for okay weed.
Anyway, I havent personally ever smoked US weed and the US is like a billion times bigger than the NL so the quality probably differs, if y’all say so then enjoy… I’m just happy I dont have to pay some dealer, there’s like 5 coffeeshops in a 1 kilometer radius from my house

Its true that for most Americans, our knowledge of world geography is really quite poor.
I have straight up heard people say things like “Wait…how can Russia invade Georgia…did they take Atlanta???”.

Part of it is the fact that the USA is a HUUUUUGE country and most Americans will never travel enough to see all of it…so a lot of us don’t bother with seeing the world due to expense and language barriers…many of us stick to exploring the vast country we were born in.
I’ve been to Germany, UK, Korea, Japan, China, Uganda, Canada, Jamaica, and other places too, but I think I’m probably not the typical american in that regard.

On another note, your body adjusts to what you smoke. When you’re a scrub, brick weed will get you fucked. And when I visit to the east coast, that shit is SUPER WEAK, but after a week i could get high off of it. And my buddy who lives there (born and raised cali) got used to their weed after a month or two.
Point is weed is awesome, and the reason everyone claims to have the best weed is because everyone’s getting high. It’s just as much about the chemistry of your brain and your body than it is about the chemistry of the herb.
I am bumping this thread because i like to play drunk fairly often. Actually it’s the only time i have fun playing 4.
haven’t had any herb recently due to being laid off, but any inebriation + street fighter is pretty much my favorite thing ever.
when i’m drinking alone, i often start off by putting on some music and watching muted street fighter matches… you get so contemplative all of a sudden!
Sometimes if I get back drunk at ~4am I might play a few rounds of sf4 before I go to bed but alcohol just makes me not care and I do stupid stuff like spamming the same move over and over to see how long it take my opponent to work out a counter.
The WORST thing for me to have before sf4 is coffee though, if I drink a lot of caffeine I just play awful, no idea why.
i personally dont drink, but i smoke bud like a mofo, and i do better if i smoke a couple bowls, it keeps me relaxed in those clutch moments, i cant really play stoned though, thats a different story.
