Are you asking permission? Because there are definitely shops in Gran Soren.
I’m not sure where to look. I tried the Inn, the Aleshore (sp?) place, and the Apothecary, and didn’t find anything. I’m thinking that Smithy place next to the Pawn Guild will have weapons, but I think I gotta complete that Wakestone quest first? I’m not sure.
Traded in Skyrim for this. Best decision I ever made. Second best will be trading in Max Lame 3 for Anarchy Reigns.
Level 20 Fighter named Vilura. Pick her up on PSN if you want a good competent fighter. Also got her equipped with the enhancement that lets her run the fuck away from a battle she is clearly losing.
So, since Diablo 3 is a dick skin scraping sack of suck, I went out today, and bought this game.
It better not disappoint - and you all better have some badass pawns!
Sent from my HTC Thunderbolt using SRK Technology.
I wanna know what you think of it. Also, we should try to sell our D3 stuff on the RMAH to cover the loss of purchasing that POS.
Been using your Pawn for a while now. She seems a helluva lot more helpful than my main one (same class).
I love this game. Just taking out a small group of bandits feels like an accomplishment. Then again, I’m running Strider, & live in fear of a Fighter so much as sneezing on me.
So, I have my Pawn’s personality set to be adventurous. Apparently that means she jumps off cliffs and kills herself all the time.
The armor/weapons shop is right beside the apothecary. It goes: Apothecary — street that leads to pawn guild — Armory.
I just found out that chair (called the Knowledge Chair) I sat in by myself in your hometown lets you talk to your main pawn. They’ll ask you questions, & your answers can change their personality. I just set mine to be more aggressive, so I hope he doesn’t start offing himself.
Your actions also change how your Pawn acts. For example, if you constantly spam the “Come” command, then your Pawn will start staying behind you, but if you spam the “Go” command, then your Pawn just runs around.
Cool!
ya got greedy and went down for the treasure only to realize you couldn’t make it back up lol
it’s okay i made the same mistake but i somehow managed to survive the fall. i was cursing myself once i realized there was no other way but to cross the cyclops. fortunately i was able to slay it and find my way back to the main path. twas very fearful experience… thought i was a goner for sure. currently have the everfall quest on que but you guys make it seem tough so i think i’ll just stick to looking for that darn tome instead.
just wait till you get blindsided by a warrior!
Crazy thing about Everfall is that it probably isn’t that tough lol. I mean if I got lucky and the ogre fell to his death maybe you can recreate that.
FC’s Adventures Continued
I’m still escorting Ser Berne I think is his name. I ended up going back the way I came because going north (the best option) either lead to a battle with a roaming dragon that had 5 or 6 health bars along with some stray goblins OR the opposite direction which lead me to a goblin ambush with an ogre. Guys these were my ONLY options. I ended up saying fuck it and took to the high ground on the way back. I stopped by the Pawn encampment (Hydra battle 1) to rest and get a new pawn.
After heading back to find a new path I end up going under a waterfall into some ancient water god’s ruins. I have double jump so I’m getting around pretty easy and my squad, plus Ser Berne, is kicking some major ass. I honestly don’t know what the hell is going on but I’m hoping that there’s an exit. I’m fighting some weird ghost things that like to latch on to people. Also ran into another Cyclops but it was a breeze for us.
I so badly just want to get this escort mission over. If Ser Berne could talk he’d probably be yelling at me for sucking so hard at my job.
*“Are we there yet young Artemis?” *
“sigh Ney.”
Holy shit.
Possibly spoilerly so,
[details=Spoiler]Just ran into a dragon while going to the Stone of the Southwest. Level 30 fighter and Ranger pawn at the time, with a fighter and mage support pawns.
Was just having fun killing some hobgoblins when out of fucking nowhere, a dragon swoops down and rains down fiery death, instantly killing two of my pawns and nearly killing me.
Did not expect to run into a dragon at ALL in this game except the end, since I had gotten the impression the dragon in the beginning was one of a kind. The encounter threw me for a massive loop and I was genuinely surprised.
Anyway, I grabbed onto its tail and made toward its heart (it was glowing red, which probably meant I was supposed to hit it) but the dragon was a lot smarter than that and just threw me off. At about 200 feet up. Needless to say, I died.
Second time around was much more successful. Kept protecting my Ranger pawn so she would hit it in the heart with precision arrows and it would fall to the ground and we would have a merry time trying to kill to it. Only problem was it had like 8 bars of health and each attack from it just would leave me at just about no health.
It did a bunch of different attacks on the ground, like a tail swipe, claw swipe, fire breath, grabbing you, wing flap to blow you away, and a quick lift off and then it would crash down on top of you. It only ever breathed fire in the air or threw you off really high up if you tried to scale it. Also the fire was unblockable and just about oneshot me or my pawns.
Only reason I was able to survive was because I had bought like 40 potent greenwarish for the road and ended up using all of them. Never expected to run into a dragon, but it was well worth all those curatives. Took me about a full day of ingame time to kill it and goddamn if it wasn’t fucking glorious when I finally killed the thing.

Everfall isn’t bad at all. Just take a mage (or two) with you and you’ll be fine.
Everfall Enemies
[details=Spoiler]
It is mostly zombies and skeletons, but there are a couple spiders, a few bats, and possibly some harpies. Going through the Everfall you have a choice to either fight the Ogre or walk around it. If you choose to walk around the Ogre, then you come to a room with a few skeletons, skeleton mages, and harpies that you have to kill. Honestly, you just need a good mage or two. The mages work wonders against the undead, and the Ogre is super weak versus magic.[/details]
I can’t get out of Everfall.
Started the event at the bottom, and what do I do? Just run back up the way I came in or am I missing something?
Go back to the pawn guild.
ESCAPE!!!
The Story of Artemis and Apollo
So I finished the water temple thingy. I found 5 important things that did nothing. I managed to get passed a locked door by double jumping over a gap to an open doorway and my crew teleported with me. Interesting. Managed to do everything I think there but that door stayed lock lol.
Went back to Gran Soren to unload and upgrade me squad. Ended up accidentally testing out a move on a soldier and got thrown in jail. Luckily I found a key to unlock jail cells and what not and as soon as I walked out a guard was waiting for me. I bribed him and met back up with my crew. Very awkward being dressed in prisoner rags.
So now I’m heading back into that westward area with the lizard men, bandit hideout, goblins, and ANOTHER surprise Chimera attack. My crew is so hard now though, at first my mages were dropping alot but the combined assault just overwhelmed the Chimera. I didn’t even have to use any health items.
Ser Berne: Heading Northward again Artemis?
Artemis: sigh Dragon or Super Ogre, party?
Apollo: I will slay them all!
Hearty laughs from all.
I was low-level-ish when I faced the Ogre but I got lucky. It charged off the stairs and died.
Where can I purchase more or better spells?
I’m using like the same 3 spells and it’s getting lame and boring!!! I WANT TO CAST “FIREBALL OF HOLY SHIT YOU DIED”!!
