I just went in there with that mindset, Drake decided to mind fuck my mage pawn and he fucked us all over from there.

I remember I was heading to shadowfort in the middle of the night. I was almost there and ran into some hobgoblins. I saw in the corner that I had a mission update to slay enemies and though, “What? These guys are easy? Why would I need to slay these guys?”.

Then a drake divebombs me out of the darkness and kills me instantaneously. Then I had to make a goddamn walk back from the encampment just to get back where I was. I attempted to fight the drake again during the day but it was taking too long so I just booked it.

Have you guys fought the Ur-Dragon yet or ran through everfall? I didn’t beat the game yet but from what I’ve been reading around, that guy is like this game’s weapon and Everfall sounds like a decent post-game dungeon. How difficult is it? So far I’ve been leveling up and feel like I can take on anything I face except that drake above, but I can probably take it on now since i got much stronger.

Dont flame me if im not really saying anything new, I havent really been up here in a while.

Anyways, if you didnt know you can cancel the cooldown of mage light attacks by jumping, which essentially lets you jump out of the recovery frames that the enemy AI love to take advantage of. I cant confirm or deny if you can do this for other classes, but it has been VERY useful for me.

Also, early on in the game if you can manage to get to the cave with the ogre you’re supposed to feed in the north west part of the map where you fight the chimera just before you reach the same cave (cant remember the name) you can XP farm the harpies they drop between 500-600xp a piece, if you have fire boon or a fire embedded weapon you can smack them out the air in one hit and rack up point. I wasted about an hour and a half getting my level 16 mage all the way to level 26.

I’ve played so many side missions and hunted for XP at this point that I’m way stronger than the storyline missions enemies. I’m killing Griffins for fun.

Also, why are the bandit archers so fucking overpowered?

dang thats good to know, the funny thing is I went to both these area around lvl 10 almost beat the chimera with all the trolls and and the wandered on to the orge in cave and got it to half life before dying. I had a random dude with me for a escort that hits like a truck and has MASSIVE armor but only randomly swings at stuff close to him, thats the only reason I was able to make it through the cave.

I’ma farm those harpies though, whats the respawn time?

Hey Furry, sorry didn’t mean to give you an arrow as a present lol. I had an enhanced weapon for the ‘warrior’ class to give you, but didn’t realize your character had to be that class and I had to equip it. Apollo has been helping me wreck shit.

Just finished Soulflyer Canyon or whatever its called. I need to go to Witchwood to do some crap for Selene, then I’m gonna start the Royal Orders quest.

I was looking at the Core Skills and man do I feel stupid. I thought they were moves/skills that were just done automatically once your purchased it…until I pressed X for ‘switch explanation’ and it shows how to perform it lol.

I’m currently running Assassin for my character and Mage for my pawn. Shooting arrows is a pain in the ass, the reticle moves too damn slow. Trying to shoot down a harpie is a complete mission. I haven’t checked the options to see if you can increase the sensitivity.

This game is too good. You’ll get sucked in and won’t realize that hours have passed.

Golden amulet x10, I read it as “golden idol”, spent a shit load of time trying to get a level 11 party past sulfur saurians, bandits, two cyclops and a manticore, not to mention snow harpies dire wolves and undead sorcerers.
Got my pawn’s inclinations sorted out finally, she’s set to challenger/utilitarian. Hopefully it sticks this time, have a few inclination potions just in case. If anyone needs a level 51 ranger, Lynn’s good to go.

So pissed at myself. I had Caxton looking for the gold idol,I run the witch’s brew quest and grab the bronze idol from selenes table and give it to Caxton. Did the bitches’ escort, and got the gold idol. I ended up giving it to Madeleine…I’m a warrior with mage pawn. =/

When facing the Griffin in Bluemoon Tower, guess who shows up? Steffen, the same guy looking for the Grimoire for the Arcane Magick. He shows up out of nowhere, gives his thanks, and proceeds to set ablaze to the Griffin with the same arcane magick that was retrieved by myself and party in a side quest. I thought that was pretty cool. It was all too boring, though, as the Griffin was easily dispatched. Some people were saying that end-game player level should be ~30, right? I finished the Griffin at level 31. Save the dragon southeast of the Shadow Fort, this game has become too easy.

What… This game is shorter than I thought… I didn’t feel like I did much so far.
The 1st hours were such a blast and I thought they are a sign of much more awesomeness to come.

There’s a lot of effing side quests bro and if you factor in getting lost and doing certain areas before you get the quest for them you can spend a lot of time in this damn game. But it does feel like something is missing. Maybe DLC? Maybe not? All I know is that the sequel has a lot to work with. About to go to the Great Wall for great things.
