Nah, turns out you can’t fight the Ur-dragon until after you beat that heart stealing bastard, so, I guess he’s pretty much a post game boss.
I seriously can’t stop playing this game. I am having too much fun over here.
I may actually buy DLC for this. Quests, anyway.
Yeah from the amount of game I’ve played so far, DLC to me truly would feel like it’s extra even if it’s on the disc.
I think my problem is I have two figthers and two mages. I think I just don’t have RCs to hire higher level pawns for my outings.
So my bro fighter pawn Golga, is already a max rank Fighter, and I have all the abilities I want for him. I kind of don’t want to move him onto Warrior though, and there are no other melee classes. It kind of feels like a waste to not have him learning anything though. Huh.
I’m not really feeling Magick Archer, right naw. I feel less involved with the goings on of a fight. I mean, just locking onto everyone with magic reticules isn’t that exciting. The abilities haven’t looked that great to me, either. I like a few of the dagger skills though. I think I’m going to probably switch over to Ranger and give that a try. I think Ranger has the ability that pins someone to a wall with an arrow, that I thought looked so amazing in the class intro vids. I won’t be able to carry over any of the Magick Archer abilities though, and I only bought one more augment, so it feels like being a M. Archer was basically a total waste.

Using Mystic Knight right now. And yeah, I will say I’m addicted right now.
Played for a good 5 hours today.
Thanks Furry for hooking my Strider up with some gear. When I switch to a mage and need a fighter pawn I’ll use your Apollo and return the favor.
So I decided to venture to the West/Southwest area past Witchwood…yeah not the greatest idea. Fought 2 Chimeras and they weren’t bad, except that the 2nd one had a bunch of those lizards with it so that was tough.
But then at night a fucking dragon come by and raped my whole party. He had about 7 life bar dots and I made the mistake of trying to fight him. I was able to escape, but I’ve had Ser Berne with me for the past 6 hours on the escort quest (which I decided to not do yet) and he ended up dying. So yeah I failed that quest.
Also, there was some Iron Golem with purple weak spots on his back. He only had 1 life bar but I still dipped. I’ll try and fight him later.
I also hope I didn’t lose a bunch of my stuff. I was getting too heavy so I gave about half of my inventory on hand to my two pawns. Ended up releasing them about an hour later and forgot they had stuff on them. Will that go to my storage or did I just lose it all?
Edit: I think it might have been a Drake, but I’m not sure.
Besides their initial gear, when support pawns are dismissed/killed, their stuff gets sent into the item storage.
So I’m following these steps in getting Madeline to open shop.

Man just started playing and tried to take a short cut for a escort quest across the map… ran into a chimera… came close to beating it like 6 times. Wasted 2 and a half hours on it. Moved on to a Quarry and ran into a gaint Orge that targets women… Almost beat it twice and moved on… Im level 11 after all this and headed back to the city…
Having alot of fun with the game, even though I actually got nothing done. 
I just recently maxed out my fighter class, for my pawn, and decided to go warrior.
And entered the quarry.
Warriors are awesome - they knock ogres on their asses.
And the bet part is, though there was only onegood item in there, it was a two handed hammer… which my warrior pawn now rocks at three stars.

Lol I’m doing the same thing. Just running around all over the map. Time just flies when you’re playing this.
Its so awesome that it costs no rift crystals for people on your friends list. I just hired Apollo from Furry and changed my vocations. I love that you can have a completely different squad with different abilities. Can’t wait to try them out tomorrow.
Started a new game. Wanted to see if playing as female changes anything about the plot, and I wanted to make a small character.
Also, I made it to the end of the game, and apparently didn’t finish it as there was no new game+

Unlocked all the Strider augments, then went back to Magick Archer myself. The lock-on property allowing me to identify enemies behind brush/in pitch black darkness is nice.
But its best aspect to me by far has been the Explosive Rivet skill. It sets foes ablaze, so it somewhat has an elemental property, & the explosion it sets off is just so useful. In dungeons/close quarters, I’ll just fire it at the feet of a group of enemies, then use Cutting Wind to get myself in there & set it off. Whether the blast does big damage or not, the fact that it interrupts foes & leaves them floored is invaluable. Against the larger monsters, the explosion also seems to give you a high chance of staggering/knocking it off its feet.
That said, I should try out the Ranger to see what it offers. I’ve just been sitting on my maxed Magick Archer for a while now.
How good is assassin? I want to go down that path sofar it seems pretty weak. I get beast by enemies
