Got an S ranked amulet at level 9 on my Dwarf.

It’s very nice, but honestly? Rank on your items doesn’t look like it’s going to be a huge deal until higher levels anyway.

Nope.

A ranked items always come with a high base stats (Strength/Def/Whatever) and multiple good bonus effects.

For example, on my fighter class,

A level 24 C rank weapon I have
Attack: 15-63
STR+3

A level 23 S rank weapon I’m using
Attack: 52 - 58
DMG to objects +17%
Stun chance: +15%
8% chance of dropping coins each hit
DEX+9

Damn near every item I have if S rank actually.

Even got some nice S rank gloves that give me -13% damage taken barefisted(weaponless) and +30% barefisted, as well as decent base stats and some other bonuses for damage resistance, and damage against downed opponents.

Game’s been absolutely broke easy for me since I started collecting S rank items(I mean like really easy, normal mode is easy enough as is but it’s ridiculous), without NPC allies.

Life points. I just get the Blessing from the church to get 3LPs for a run. If you get 30k score/points, it starts stacking LPs.

I get the weapon drop blessing or the score/XP blessing.

Wow, that’s quite some decent separation in quality between C and S.

But I guess my point is that the game isn’t exactly difficult in the first 20 levels with mostly B quality gear.

As the difficulty ramps up later, seeing that S is going to continue to be more and more meaningful.

This game is too fuckin’ awesome. My dark-skinned dwarf named ‘Jamal’ is slowly getting pimped out items. I’m glad they implemented similar message system from the DS series. Some hilarious death messages I’ve seen so far:

Yeah, you can. It’s just no cross platform play between the Vita and the PS3. You can just transfer your save files back and forth, like in Monster Hunter Ultimate between the 3DS and Wii U. Annoying, but, still cool nonetheless when I want to play on my HDTV. Which will only be weekends. I should be on my PS3 this weekend.
