to the guy talking about side blocks- im sure i remember bt2 having side blocks. Five different blocks infact. if you block a positioned charge attack it parries it…

I’m seriously loving the AI of this game.
i LOVE how this game looks now. Its so amazing. I am going to have to get a wii just so i can play this online!
im pretty disapointed in the game. Got a chance to play it, pretty yawn. Cant belive all the stuff they took away. Also why does vegettos super kamehameha do more then his final kamehameha? Does that even make sence? I know the charge moves change damage depending on when you boost it, but do the moves that always say boost on it, do they get better depending on when you boost it or something? Or is it always same?
also how do you do the one teleport things I see in video the teleport counters theyy added in the game(again havnt played much)…
also the sway thing seems broken and shouldnt be in the game. Is there even a flaw to it? It acctualy takes away the OTHER guys super? wtf? how stupid is that. Also of course not all the sways are created equal it seems and some other better then others. Doesnt seem to be anyway to stop your guy from attack ethier once there caught in the other guy swaying its basicly just liek great now im going to lose a whole bar of super, and take damage. Seriously dum thing if this is the case. Wheres the flaw to it. Its totaly on the guy doing it to fuck up theres nothign wrong with it it seems. Dum…
Not sure as I was fooling around in training mode most the time, so I dunno exactly for sure how the bar going away and coming goes, but it seems the older vegetas still have there semi infinite thing so they never lose meter yadda yadda(vegeta had infinite in first game, and in second semi thing jig. Vegeta is always ranked top tier seems to me in tier lists that i see… and seems like he still has the shit so he never loses meter so probably still really good again shrug)
Seems like they made it so you cant really get a full combo after rushs supers now. Your guy wont even do the second attack after the first. Game wont even accept the command its like. However randomly I have gotten to come out… so??? not sure maybe theres a seekrit to it?
I think they took out the counter cancle infinite that always reset you no matter what. So you could attack infinitly. I cant seem to do it shrug.
Jump attacks are diff from cahracter to character now(at least I dont recall them being diff in the second game)…
If you stay in dash for awhile randomly it seems you will no longer lose meter when you shoot fireballs??? Hrmm not sure how ive gotten it to happen(again havnt messed with the game much)…
Not sure if your still allowed to hit each direction once before your allowed to teleport since they took away that meter its hard to tell what works and what doesnt now.

from what I heard the sonic sway gets beat by low attacks. Sprawlers will know for sure though.
I will be getting online with T3. None of the changes are enough to turn me off of the game.
yea i heard that as well… But that isnt the case that I see. once someone does it your both stuck in teh animation you cant stop ethier character. And for wahtever reason it takes away super from the guy ATTACKING and then they get hit or comboed(depending on character)for free.
What kinda bs is that? There should be a way to stop but once your in it, it seems your stuck. And like I said it acctualy takes away a full bar from the guy attack, and nothing from the other guy. Go figure that one out.
Sonic sway is an extension of parry stance, which only protects against normal attacks. Try abusing sonic sway against max level AI, you’ll have a lot of fun. Try it against someone who throws charged or uncharged physical attacks alot, I guarantee you that you’ll have a nice experience.
Why are you trying to pass judgement on the game if you haven’t played it much. Yes, Spike removed quite a bit… I’m still disappointed they removed cancels. But they added in quite a few new mechanics.
But until I follow the basic, basic formula of learning a fighting game:
Learn the mechanics -> learn the characters -> play the match ups/discuss the match ups
I won’t pass any final judgments on the game. I won’t even try to say its really good yet. But from my experiences I’ve been having much more fun than T2 and B3.

And umm yea duh I know what the sway works vs. Doesnt change the fact that you yourself are doing a counter move and it takes away super from the OTHER GUY. That doesnt even make sence.
As for trying it vs the cpu on “max AI” umm I did, and its dum. It should not take away meter from someone else for you countering.
Alright, Ive had the chance to play this game. Its ALOT of fun. I dont like how they got rid of the charge stuff though from the second game =(. But overall its alot of fun.
It always takes up ki to use the stance if it fails.
If you’re seriously that worried about someone spamming sonic sway against you, throw a ki blast before you attack. Deflecting ki blasts is done in a completely different way. If you didn’t know, to deflect ki blasts, you have to hold O and then tap left and right for each ki blast. You can always step in and use one of the triangle attacks. Or you can just make your first attack an uncharged charge attack.
You can fool around with the tempo of your attacks if someone is blocking you and you expect them to sonic sway. You can attack extra slow, so you can bait out the sonic sway and then punish. Thats all that comes to mind right now.
I think he’s complaining that the guy who fell for the sonic sway is losing a stock and getting smacked. Which is fine by me. more ways to get rid of your opponents meter the better. as for the logic behind it does make sense in a nerd sort of way. It still doesn’t break the game though. hey sprawlers what are thoughts on being to teleport when charging strikes? I’m not sure if makes up for the full cancels from before, but I think it has promise.
