yes its a infinite… as long as you time it right, other dude is fucked. It exploites a flaw in teh game. You acctualy arent allowed to get out of it.
So basically, you argue Spike doesn’t intend on using potaras in competitive play because they do a poor job of implementing them. I argue Spike intends on competitive play because the characters are designed with potaras in mind.

When you say you allow Potaras…Does that mean I can equip characters with those red ones? You know, that give a power of a god?

i’m also not sure why you’d use king kai’s training or master roshi’s training to add additional health bars in competitive play unless you wanted to run the clock out.
default health seems like a better option considering that more health = fights being drawn out.
I wouldn’t allow red potaras. They’re accessed through cheating devices, and password characters from the previous game.
I wouldn’t allow the 7 slot potaras either. They’re only unlocked through disc fusion, which is unique to PS2 only. If there are wii players, they get put at an unfair disadvantage.
We’re not rating just the potaras. We’re rating the characters with potaras in mind. So we take into account that second form Vegeta with rush blast 3 and master blast can combo up his ki blasts to do over 5,000 damage. We take into account Yamcha and Chiaotzu can easily after image for 1 bar. We take into account Early Goku can repeatedly solar flare your face for 1 bar whenever you’re in melee range of him. This game is a very different world with potaras.
The tier lists for the Budokai games were originally done with capsules in mind. It would take longer to do one for T3, but its doable.

There was an infinite similar to that in T1. The idea was to fatigue your opponent, then repeatedly do the heavy finish.

Anyway for explotiable ummm yes it is. when me and scooter have played weve deffintly landed it on each other. And well… you lost. Even with one bar characters, its still possible to get if you do it as fast as possible. Plus dont forget that the area you are in effects it to. So if your close to a wall etc its even easier to do. And since getting large amounts of meter is hard in the first place since so much shit takes it away. Deffintly doable.
Of course you cant just pick cell or babdi and hit the guy once, and theyve died, but you can deffintly get it in matchs. Not to hard.
