Now that I’ve seen that, the fight was kind of weak lol. And I havn’t seen any other forms so I’m guessing Brolly doesn’t transform.
eeeewwwwwwwww…
Lol i like how he edited in that it’s a rookie fight after i posted how weak that video was. Good show.
Press LT/R2. It has to land in order for the rush to start. I haven’t figured out how to activate it right after an attack (nor have I tried, but I’m guessing it’s just pressing that button right after a hit, like a pursuit).
EDIT:
Hahaha, yeah.
I had to delete that post, because no one needs to download it for the sake of their ram. I edited my post, because I agreed with you. Take it from somebody who downloaded it for nothing. I thought it was something special from atari, since it was exclusive and at. No hard feelings man.
Oh no, i meant no disrespect at that comment. I went and downloaded it too. I was expecting something HUGE because Brolly was in it but nope. It was some vid of some guys doing something. What a waste Atari.
played it a shitload of times, now. it’s nothing special but i absolutely love the speed of the fights and the cineastic cut scenes. damn, i wish they would remake the anime with this visual appeal.
though somehow i think budokai 3 is still the peak of all dbz fighting games.
Is there any way to select the “battle damage” costumes we see in the Z Missions mode for Goku and Gohan in Versus mode?
Im going to imagine not as the general feeling Im getting from Burst Limit is off a half finished game (that theyll complete by selling us DLC), apart from the lack of different costumes there’s also the fact they tease/taunt us by showing us models in the game engine that arent available as playable characters e.g. Mecha-Freiza, SS2 Goku, etc. When I orginally heard that it was only up to the end of the Cell Saga I wasnt that bothered but they havent even bothered to include characters that should be covered by that span of the story.
^^ Yeah right after this game comes out, and for some odd reason, people get suckered into the same exact game again, Burst Limit 2 will be announced.
There is no DLC content planned for Burst Limit, anything we have seen in videos is going to be in the game, and any characters you wanted in the game that aren’t is just preference.
And you already know the second game is coming, so why even bother complaining about this one? But just so I actually understand what you’re saying, just WHO did they leave out? And before you answer just remember this isn’t BT where they stuff all the unneeded characters that no one will use just to up their character count.
Firstly, Im well aware of whats “going to be in the game” considering I have it and have finished it, hence my question about using costumes that appeared in the story mode not in whatever videos you are referring to. Has it actually been confirmed that there is no DLC or is that just your opinion?
Secondly, I wasnt aware I needed your permission to complain about anything, so I think I’ll complain about whatever I feel like complaining about. On a similar tangent who are you to dictate what characters are going to be played ? That being said, characters that could have been included but were left out -
- Chiaotzu
- Great ape Vegeta
- Zarbon
- Dodoria
- Gurd
- Butta
- Jheese
- King Cold (Models in game)
- Mecha Freiza (Model fights in game but is unplayable)
If they really wanted
- Chichi
- Yajirobe
- Master Roshi
- Hercule
- Dr Gero
- Android 19
- Cell Jr
The could also have updated the characters costumes, allowing you to pick the battle damaged Goku and Gohan costumes that are already playable in the story mode (hardly a major task) and updating Piccolo to his “cloaked” costume. Even without the extra characters little extra’s like that would have made the game feel more polished, as it is it feels incomplete.
Yeah, Donny Clay said back at GDC that there was no DLC planned for the game, and every time it’s been brought up after that, he has said the same.
Great Ape modes have no place in this game. The rest of the characters can’t fight with them. Which takes us back to the “This is not Budokai Tenkaichi” line I said. I have to really admit, having all the Ginyu force in the game is not going to compel me to want to play with them any more than once, which is my opinion, but it was obviously the game developer’s, too if they didn’t want them in the game. I don’t see how Mecha Frieza would play any differently than regular Frieza, and if you’re arguing that more costumes are needed, that’s just an opinion.
That second list you made starts with three characters that almost never fought in Z. “If the really wanted to” is read “it’d be cool if they put in” which is another way to say “I want”.
“***Secondly, I wasnt aware I needed your permission to complain about anything, so I think I’ll complain about whatever I feel like complaining about. On a similar tangent who are you to dictate what characters are going to be played ***?”
I don’t see why you took what I said so personally, it’s not even that serious. You’re getting yourself worked up over nothing. You can complain about all the shit you want, but if you mess up even one statement, don’t expect people to not say anything and ride with it. You don’t have to make something bigger than it is. Dang.
I guess Piccolo is still number 1 just like in Budokai 3.
Dammit. I was hoping Goku could take back the crown.
Oooooooooooooooooooooweeeeeee!!!
Im # 1
I endorse this message cheesy smile and thumbs up
The song in the title screen is too good.
I’m suprised no one has posted the awesome commercial for this game:

by the way i wonder if the version are identical, like… does the japanese version have music from the show and movies, and wonder what the US version is going to use… just generic garbage again or what? And is the US version going to let you use the japanese voices?
wow…I have a feeling that this has a good chance of sparking a meme lmao

Oh, but it IS your type of fighting game. It’s everyone’s type of fighting game.
