Hey guys is this the pushblock you guys have been talking about or is this…something else entirely?
reason I ask is because usually with push block you have to wait until the attack hits you before you push the attack off. But in this vid it’s pretty clear that Vegeta has his hand cocked back a head of time before fending off Goku’s kick.
Guy is not speaking english so if you want to get specifically to where this is go to :37
Max just put up another video of footage he took of some matches with other people on the 3rd day.
he’s commentating over top of it and based off of what he’s saying it seems he hasn’t realized that the homing dash can be counter hit. He’s saying the swat is push block as well since he does it twice to push a homing attack off of him in the vid. So I’m guessing you can just prepare the push block a head of time for something in coming and it comes out automatically? I’m wondering if you can get punished for doing it or if it will only come out if an attack is coming towards you like proximity guarding. Further more I’m wondering if it’s possible to cancel out of the push block into super to easy punish people who spam on the homing dash.
Edit: actually this vid answered my question. Goku actually does it at about 6:23 and Vegeta isn’t near him when he does it. So it can get baited.
Just pre-ordered this game, and I’m morally opposed to pre-ordering. Like, this might be the first time I’ve ever done it kind of morally opposed. However, this game looks like the show I loved as a kid come to life in a way that I didn’t think was possible, and I’m a guy who thought xenoverse was the closest we’d ever get to playing the show. How wrong I was! Here’s my favorite DBZ game ever (hyper dimension) given the Arcsys flavor with marvel style tag-teaming. Bruh, I’m sold.
The hype I had for marvel was sucked out of my soul and replaced with a burning desire for this game.
There are command grabs, which seem like standard FG throws, but regular “throws” activate the hyper speed punches into a launcher, or reset you both to neutral if teched.
To be fair the “dust” in DBF really is a grab but they renamed it and made it start a combo to be more true to DBZ. You have to hit your own to counter it so that is a grab in my book, at least that’s how I’ll see it.
Wait where did you pre-order it?
Also, front page of SRK but you never know, possibly the best interview so far :
Amazon. With Amazon Prime it’s $12 off sticker price for a total of $52 bucks after taxes. I also saw that Amazon has a new (to me) trade-in service so I dug up my old copy of Injustice 1 I never play anymore for PS4 for $10 dollars of store credit, bringing my total to $41 and change. Totally worth it imo, especially since I will probably just buy injustice again for $3-$5 bucks whenever it goes on sale on steam.
