It’s laughable that this doc is even necessary because people won’t realize that Twitter and Discord are terrible for building systems of knowledge. This movement away from forums is the stupidest shit ever.
Yeah, that’s one point why forums are valuable resources and how it’s a shame people want to ditch forums for something so disorganized such as Discord or Twitter (Discord has pins, but they leave out TONs of useful info that would be good in a real match).
Just had a REALLY REALLY hard time finding something regarding Cell’s 6M overhead conversion (meaty) that could be done midscreen, while it mentioned that Nappa and Yamcha were also capable of doing this… this one in particular:
Want to know why it was so unnecessarily hard?? The description. All it entails is something “midscreen” something “Cell/Nappa/Yamcha”… no tags whatsoever on 6M Overhead Meaty etc. I get how Twitter is a good source to “share” info… but it’s not a good source in collecting and researching specific info.
I see… well, hoorah of me/others for being one of those that don’t consider about “gaining followers” as much as being those that care to share/gather info?
Probably one aspect of Twitter I dislike. Get invited and mentioned about it a lot, but tbh, I’m really not all into this follow jazz. I was under the impression it was like that for specific famous people OR an avatar/anime based version of Facebook (kept being redirected via FG friends into the anime side of stuff from FKO and what not) that can act like an incomplete timeline forum… a poor one at that. The followers portion I just assumed = friend invites or whatnot. What good do you get from followers otherwise if it’s not for that case? Attention?
Edit: Now that I think about it, why couldn’t we share info in Twitter just to share knowledge? It might not be the majority rule of how it is supposed to be handled, but I don’t see what’s stopping someone to use it in terms of that aspect. With that said, I’ll still use it the way as I always would, in addition with questions/answers, support, and personal stuff.
I would probably move Yamcha to point to let him benefit of both assists. Black and Tien are both good anchors so it’s up to you; GB has a terrific solo game but people prefer running Tien anchor in general because meter opens up a lot of options for him.
Yeah, not sure. I only joined Dustloop last summer and it was already pretty barren. It seems only the BB crowd still posts there. I love their emojis and sprites and stuff, but…oh well, the activity is here.
Is there any known notice on them trying to fix ring matches? I know they said they did, but it still doesn’t work for me. I have never successfully ever gotten one to work yet.
Solid. He’s one of the best space control characters, and also has some useful mixups thanks to 22S. 236S is a solid combo ender and makes a lot of assist extensions easy, and 236L+M has a lot of useful DHC-options for similar reasons. Golden Frieza with sparking is also one of the best comeback characters in the game, it’s the closest thing this game has to actual XF3-characters.
His only real problems is that his solo damage is really bleh, he’s dependent on the right assists for both his combos so you can’t just slap him onto a team like you’d do with Cell or Kid Buu, and there’s an angle he kinda struggles with AAing since his 2H is a very horizontal one.
I heartily recommend him if you want to play a character specializing in space control. Easily my favorite character in the roster.
I personnally run Tien as Point as his game really benefit from assist.
You can do big damage out of a 236L and even start pressure with it using the right assist. I personnaly paired him with A. Gohan and they complement each other pretty well IMO. I must say I’m not a big fan of losing life with Tri Beam so i tend to use my meter for something else.
Yea tien is definitely a point character. Your current order is what I would run
I Think I finally found my team with krillin, yamcha, goku. Krillin has such good space control along with a great oki game. Not sure why more people don t use krillin. Also his normals seem to be a lot better than a good amount of characters, definitely doesn’t seem stubby to me.
