dude, i am not part of whatever happened here with you and other guys in the past. i got it you like to rub things on people but you rub on the wrong place at the moment.
i talk about the video with the vega example in the corner. btw, does beerus six fireball install count as fireballs too and apply to the same rule or is it like with vegeta that just one of em counts as a fiireball?
keep in mind that the world doesnt have his eyes on the srk forum. people get the game, experience things and make videos for what they found.
Compilation of random discoveries. Most of it is stuff discussed here, but there are a few interesting bits:
āYou can swap your point character before the match begins during the team loading screen by pressing either L1/L2 until a sound cue plays. You cannot re-switch again after picking a new lead. It has to be the physical L1/L2 button, A1/A2 doesnāt count.ā
Feels lame that you canāt use modified controller changes for A1/A2 buttons. It can be really confusing for those with an odd controller layout (ie: certain Hori sticks in the past).
yes beerus fireballs count as a regular fireball thats why I showed the example in the video. Basically how I explained his character before if we were to think of this game as a traditional fighting game common sense wise we would think that oh fuck well beerus can set shit up venom wise and rush us down whatever.
But because of how the game works, in reality if you see him do ANY of his fireballs, even his DP move. You can purposely jump into to block to make yourself invincable then if he tries anything since they all only count as regular fireballs and you can cancel the recovery so you chose. Also as well as shown if you are close enough period actually you can just cancel your block in the air with a homing dash and it punishes him period, he can not block it. And going even further lets assume we reacted slow to say, again since it counts as a fireball we can do double duty then and homing dash cancel with a assist at the same time to cover us. Since again although you cant do it with parry you can homing dash cancel and assist at the same time to cover yourself while block if you have blocked a fireball.
So ya in reality although beerus looks like a set up character because of the way the game actually works I envision him as not only not actually rushing down, he might just be a keep away annoying character type instead. Certainly again you can bait stuff, and im sure he can set up stuff with trickery no doubt, but the game discourages it at the same time. So theres deff a lot of things you can do
yeah reflect is very good in this game and is this games pushblock i got tired of just trying to block tien with the yamcha assist or goku black bullshit because his reach is INSANE since you can cancel also cancel alot of strings into specials or ki blast or assists to make them safer you need to reflect the gaps in strings or obvious stagger attempts in the neutral. most knockdown situations will net you one mixup if they are utilizing reflect right.
you get pushed out then you get to play again and the threat of a superdash or other obtuse specials, vanish is enough to make them hesitate
then you get to play neutral again. because the assist cooldown is too much its more like tvs cooldown then marvel like
if you look at sonic foxes matches at NLBC he only gets one mixup the only reason why it looks insane is because he guessed right at such a high clip he had to have guessed right on opening people up at about 95%.
I was wondering about the legacy support thing. I know PC has been having input drive issues so not surprising. Not even sure all which fighters had legacy support on launch outside of SFV. Iām assuming Injustice or T7 probably have it.
T7 has it, which Iām eternally grateful for because it means I can play that game on my homemade Hitbox made from a PS3 PCB, a piece of wood and some duct tape (not even joking). Sucks that thereās none on DBFZ, I think I have to actually buy a real Hitbox because of that once I can afford one
Hmmm, yeah maybe you get lucky and they get some legacy support soon after launch.
Not sure why devs do that stuff. SFV had legacy support day one, but then MVCI says fuck it weāre not doing it. I dunno if itās that difficult to implement where they canāt throw stuff like that into every game on launch.
Well the issue is that the PS4 Software updates are throwing wrenches into things.
Like for SFV, before you could sync your Legacy controller then just turn off your PS4 controller. Now you can no longer do that, the PS4 controller MUST be on for the Legacy Controller to remain synched. This was only a recent development right before AE came out, most likely due to the PS4 Software update that happened not too long beforehand.
I just had this game do a ārollbackā online. Did Trunks shining sword to a black player and it showed the hit connecting. Then it cut to us in neutral at starting positions. Must be a desync issue. I just so happened to get video of it. Might upload in a bit.
