The only issue with Homing Dashes in the Input Delay Netcode. It makes it that much harder to react to them with the 2H punish. You could know it’s coming, and still get beat by it because it came out too late.
That’s been my main issue. Yes, you can stuff them (when they’re obvious as fuck), but it’s unreliable and not worth the risk. I’d rather super on reaction than try to 2H of even 5L with some characters (not Gohan). It sucks the worst when you’re trying to play a normal neutral game with ground dashes, IADs, etc and they just say “fuck all that, DD”.
“Oh you’re approaching without a DD? Let me DD and take priority.”
“Oh you’re about to punish my unsafe normal? NAH, DD.”
“Oh you fell out of my air combo? That was actually a reset. Let me DD from right above you while you’re offscreen so you have to guess to even block it.”
Fuck that, wave dashing has to be one of the most stupid ways of movement i had to suffer on a fg.
What the fuck is the point of limiting your movement with dashes if you will let them be cancelled mid animation anyway?
It forces the player to an unnecessary hurdle to have some semblance of good movement options just because dumb reasons.
I know they can be stuffed but I keep messing up due to not being able to focus at times.
And damn, it’s on maintenance and I’m thinking that’s the end of the beta and I didn’t have enough time to save all of the clips of the battles I did, I think I even missed the Accel Dance being able to fully confirm on an assist.

That would work if DDs were actually unsafe on block. Not only can they still attack out of a blocked DD while they’re still airborne, they can block as well. Depending on when they do the DD, you’re neutral at best. If they’re in Sparkling mode, you’re not doing shit.
Only real way to counter DDs is to punish them during the animation.
