The joke was that there is so little Nappa gameplay footage that the character isnât even in the game.
It wasnât just the Super reveals. Kid Buu AND Gohan also ate up that timespan. So you had 6 other characters (Hit, Black, Beerus, Gohan, Kid Buu, and Ginyu) who all looked way more interesting with cooler skills than Nappa. So dude got dumped onto the backburner where heâs been cooking for months.

I want Nappa to be top tier, if for no other reason he is canonically the weakest playable character in the roster power-wise

As for delicious tech ive already posted a number of bugs and glitchs and optimal combos⌠if they were missed because my posts were to long to read. Well what are you gonna do. Its been posted. As for the stuff I just mentioned like making attacks unblockable etc well whats the point, so people can then be like oh wow you were right after all as usual sorry for giving you a hard time. Nah ill pass. No need to spoil the whole game, who knows if some of this stuff will even work in the final will see.
As for top tier I can not honestly say because all though most my ideas have been proven true, theres still things that need to be tested etc. I mean look at that ginyu thing I posted, he could be completely busted potentially. Can you do the jump into fireball thing I posted like you can with alpha counters in other games? If you can, boom, potential meta change in general. Thats why id rather stick to just more so specific aspects that have been seen or are fitting the rules instead of commenting on stuff that there hasnt been enough of to logically assume it works or that we dont know enough about.
I dont have the game or else I would test this all, and im just going by videos that are showing the basic ideas of it are possible. But thats what I said people were to worried about only watching âgoodâ players play and not realizing its a brand new game so even watching âscrubsâ is valuable. Hell, you know I was worried(and still am) that there wasnt gonna be links in the game. But watching âbadâ people playing, I actually noticed a number of links that people havnt talked about that assuming they are in the final version of the game are gonna make some basic combo ideas change completely. Hell I was bored watching a video of just some random people playing, just mashing like a mofo, and what do you know, saw auto combos after smash combos in a single combo. All still smashing, never taken away. And you know if I only watched âgoodâ or the âbetterâ people play that theory I had that this was the case there would have never been proof of. Because to many players were to concerned with just going with what works and not trying to find different stuff. But then here you go, random dudes mashing, and they show just like I said it works. Anyway as long as im not to busy with something I already plan on making lots of day one or 2 videos for the game with lots of characters showing stuff. Its just a matter of how much it works in a row or you can fit all together. Hell id still like to see someone do double dynamics to prove my potential infinite s right from earlier still, but sadly even with double auto combos ive just never seen someone go for a dynamic in these situations. Again probably because just mashing in the first place. Oh well.
As for the guys you mentioned ya they all seem potentially good. Cell has legit loops that should be possible, not just those assist things people were getting boners about. I saw a video where dudes mashing and legit linked in and out of stuff that seems hella good to me. Like corner to corner legit. Probably had no idea what they actually had just done. Hes been shown to actually be able to abuse the properties of the game better than other characters. Lots of stuff. HIt I said it right when I saw videos if anyone knows tell me but I agree he looks good I mean what is discouraging him from doing what ever he wants right now? Cuz from the videos at least that I saw it was not clear. Again never claimed to know all about the game. Ive tried to ask questions myself. ID like to see if black can do the special special cancel since his fireball button is âslowâ but hard to say but that could be tricky and fun.
But again thats why I want to confirm somethings first before id actually think about realistically who is top tier. Only thing that right now legitimately you can say is âtop tierâ is if we are talking about in terms of synergy top tier I guess then we have seen characters with multi hitting normals legitimately break the normal rules of tag team games which I discussed back during this summer showing them comboing thigns that normally are not combos and of course some characters have drastically better supers for DHC purposes.
Other wise characters themselves need to confirm somethings before id really theorize the entire game as it is. Cuz again even something like ginyu rather than being âcomplicatedâ might turn out to be a scrub a dub character.

Yamcha does nothing in Z canon besides bring heart diesease goku to his house. His only fights are getting killed by a saibaman, who stood no chance against any of the other fighters besides maybe chiaotzu, and getting wrecked by gero, who also wasnât a threat to any of the real fighters.
Nappa on the other hand killed tien, chiaotzu, piccolo, and would have killed gohan and krillian (and could have genocided the rest of earth by himself really) if goku didnât show up. He also tanked gokus attacks for a pretty damn long time without notable injury, he didnât get put down until kaioken. If vegeta didnât execute nappa, he would have been pulling zenkais out of his ass like the rest of the saiyans.
