Actually seriously I encourage you go try the thing I said about jumping and deflecting right now in guilty gear. Dont make me post the video again showing the guy blocking in this game landing still being in block stun. Go to training mode right now, block a attack in the air… doesnt matter if its a air to air, or you FDing a ground normal. Then when you land. Look what you can do… You can alpha counter. Its not hard. We have seen in this game as well that the stun carries over, I have posted video just a few pages ago. Go watch.
Now use some common sense. Hell its not even me saying it anymore right? Now other people have confirmed what I said when the game was first played. Deflect is hella powerful. But now look what you just did in guilty gear. Made by the same company guys. Its logical to assume until its proven other wise from all the videos weve seen(and again maybe final version is different but for now), we can seriously be blocking in the air any kinda fireball what so ever, then land… and we are invincible. Doesnt matter if we cant deflect in the air. The stun carries over to the ground. The last thing we blocked was a fireball.
We have seen you can chicken guard reasonably. Its not just me again saying this now. Now other people have confirmed it. Go suck them off be sure to take pics for me. Or well dont cuz thats gay.
Now use what I just said imagine playing the game in a competitive mind set. A game with no real throws… No need to FD ground normals… We can empty jump in this game purposely into attacks possibly realistically in many situations to MAKE ourselves invincible while we are calling out assists to start our offensive because again we arent in true stun so we can call assists, but we cant be hit so the opponent cant punish us for doing this because we are invincable, and if they tried to punish us we can then attack them blah blah.
See to me these are the things that should be getting tested right now, cuz this kinda shit changes the meta of the game. This is what ive been talking about. Will it work in the final version of the game. Who knows, but from the videos that have been shown, it looks like it should. And its potentially really annoying.
According to a comment from Max not all of the moves the characters had were shown on the command lists he was given. That along with the major time constraint was why he didn’t show everything.
I mean, even with the other breakdowns that BN has done with Hellpockets or Perfect Legend, it’s pretty obvious that they don’t want them showing off everything.
its enough to give his audience a idea about what the char can potentially do.
of course its no indepth stuff and i doubt anyone is expecting that from him.
maybe because he is most likely making more money with fighting games, talking about em then 99% of the people who try to git gud at em and go to tourneys…who knows…
I’m pretty sure it’s because a) he’s dispensing information the FGC mostly knows about b) is super clickbaity and like/comment/subscriby c) focuses on what’s popular d) leads to an influx of scrubs or e) all of the above.
I dunno either, that’s just what I’ve picked up. We ain’t his audience, let him be.
Because he is basically a bait clicker much like Eventhubs with the sole intention of his pockets. He will release these fake hypes, half assessed rushed quick break downs just to get a head and get his views $$$.
According to everyone who’s made breakdowns so far, they all have really limited time (I’ve seen Hellpockets, Rhymestyle, and Max say so and I’m assuming PL has too because his breakdown was just as bad) to get information for their breakdowns, but Max still takes the time to go as in-depth as (i’m assuming) he knows. I don’t get the “He’s rushing these videos out for the $$$” vibe at all. Yeah, Nappa is definitely going to give him more views than a Gotenks video, right?
