on a more serious gameplay related topic as well, im still feeling a little worried about some of the ānormalā characters in the game right now. All the characters that are more wacky perhaps inevitably seem to have a lot more potential etc. Like Im still not understanding some of the logic like god gokuā¦ we have characters like ginyu with multiple assists no idea if there is some cool down time for them, nappa planting a bunch of green men to harass/actually has a legit standing overhead which is hella rare, krillin has a whole bunch of potential and wacky mix ups. And god gokuā¦ has no regular beam moveā¦ can only super downā¦ missing over head special punch, and they gave himā¦ a slow ass command throwā¦ and a teleport and rush punch that goes through fireballs. I mean really his teleport didnt seem that fast to me. Makes me afraid they put a lot of fail safes on the idea of him and were afraid he would be to powerful at a low level or something. Id actually like to see regular goku still have some kinda teleport, besides regular super kamehameha maybe if it was just something as simple as if you press a button while you are doing a regular kamehameha he will teleport and throw it behind the guy as well. I still have seen a lot of potential for the ānormalā characters to say of course, but competitively im not a big fan of the idea of making the game simple, and the main established characters more soā¦but all the novelty characters are complicated with more moves and can do more stuff have way more options blah blah. Unless a lot of the combo ideas I have for the normal characters just wont work for these others ones but will seeā¦
For a character with only middling popularity they really put in work for tien.

Maybe you are playing her in story mode. It says you randomly control goku, freeza, or 18 right? So maybe when you are not at their specific plot points you play as bulma as you try to solve this surely intricate mystery of androids etc

Arc Sys did say that there will chars that are basic as fuck and characters that have crazy mix-up and combo potential. It was very plainly stated by the producer. So yeahā¦Goku is a basic bitch with hella power and the weaker chars are the ones that have alot of interesting shit.
Blugeta looks like he same some cool shit though as do several main stays. So maybe you just really like Goku and want him to be complex?

Jeezus Ginyu can just fill the screen with shit thanks to his own Ginyu Force assists, canāt he? Thatās awesome. Iām guessing each member has a decent cooldown before it can be used again. If not it would be like 18ās 17 assist but x4. Which would be awesome too. I think I want this dude on my team
