I think the idea or wish that buu of turning into another 31 characters what we are to have now after DLC will never ever happen. If I was a rich man id bet on it even. Just not plausible given the way the graphics are. They dont even like doing other costumes unless its randomly in a story. So just no way they are gonna rework a costume with all these animations just not happening.

At best id think if a super buu ever gets put in the game(which I think is plausible if the game is popular and makes another round of DLC but highly doubtful for me in first round)is something like rogue in the original xmen vs street fighter, how you you get one extra special. So whoever is the last person you just ate with a super. Or hell it could be a simple special lets say, qcf+s is candy beam a regular special but if it hits he eats you, spits you out real quick. Then from there on every other qcf+s(or who knows maybe they will give its own command)he will do a unique move depending on who he ate. And for that ONE special he will morph into their clothes and do a move. Goku he does a quick kamehameha… if he ate gotenks, he turns into him spits out a couple ghosts. Then morphs back. I think anything else every happening is just to unrealistic given the technology and history. But something like that, which is also logically pretty time consuming since you gotta come up with in a way potentially 30 extra special move animations/sprites whatever you want to call them is kinda asking a lot/

I think a more MVC2 rogue is more likely though, have who ever he eats, he gets either stronger, faster, whatever. And even saying that since for the time being super buu isnt in the game, i think regular buu should have that in the first place if he hits the candy beam and it kills since as it is, his level 3 is pretty weak, and you dont get much life back for it as is. Id think itd make him more unique as well.

I didn’t see anyone post this, but here’s some Tien and Yamcha gameplay along with SSB Goku and SSB Vegeta.

Maybe a simple thing to try if you play vegeta or goku since weve seen videos of people mashing with them(could work with other mash fireballs but cant say since havnt seen it.)since you can cancel fireballs with your homing dash weve seen stuff as mentioned before hard, and instead of homing dash right after fireball mash till last hit, then homing dash will hit. But can we actually hit a full fireball string with out wasting one of our hard smashes to homing dash? So something like light, medium, mash fireball, last hit launches we cancel that with homing dash to combo etc etc… maybe only in corner rubs chin

Or of course if possible the one idea that hopefully shouldnt be to hard, see if you can RC your mash dynamic combo, RC the last hit, see if you can land and do another dynamic. If you can and it builds meter while doing it again for the second time, that would help prove again this other loop idea I had more so. I tried searching videos, and I saw auto combo to dynamic auto combo, to auto combo, but no one ever went for a second air auto combo sadly in all the beta test footage I saw to see if it does give you the free bar over again to loop it. If this doesnt work there is of course the potential to store perhaps our properties with a homing dash shown before we could see if we store the property of after the RC instead of trying to land to hit another autocombo,just RC homing dash at the guy, and mash on the auto combo. Does it still give you the auto air dynamic(god the community really is gona have to come up with some lingo for this game I want to call everything just auto combo but I guess its dynamic but blah) combo since you have not hit the ground etc? but lets keep it simple for now…

If not time no worries, hopefully this beta comes out soon and ill try it then lag so help me.

Didn’t get to test shit. The way the lines were handled made testing hard. Aside from being long, you could only play 1 single match before you had to leave the station and let the guys behind you play.

main things that stuck out to me about that trailer is… Notice how ginyu actually flys on to the screen with slightly different animation than the rest of the cast has so far. His hands are open. Could the finally game actually have specific character openings like they alluded to in one of the first interviews that just was forgotten about? If so please have vegito come in with his arms crossed and instead of using his elbow he uses his feet.

Besides the burters kick looks pretty lame and generic and slow. Was hoping he was gonna get some kicks that actually looked like he used or the ones in that 3d tenkaichi game I think it was called.

Kinda lame recomme has a kick as one of his moves too. Saying that im guessing he deff wont be getting that super big flying power bomb and eraser gun.

Poor jiece his main signature attack … that fireball is possibly the smallest fireball in the game. Hopefully he has some other cool stuff to please his fans.

I guess at the end of the day maybe all the attacks have to look slow since he has so many ‘potential’ moves at this point. Might be to easy to make him overpowered. Although honestly I was kinda hoping they were gonna go to extremes. Make all the assists extremely huge powerful flashy whatever adjective you want to use. To be visually impressive but have them do piddly damage since they are just assists.

Besides that on a gameplay theory note randomly watching a video and it occurred to me going along the one line sorta with goku and a loop he might have with his duck fireball. I forgot goku can cancel his standing fireball to duck fireball. But does anyone know if you can cancel any hit? Or just any hit before the last hit of the standing fireball… If so since we know you can link after after duck fireball if it hits close, and last hit of fireball mash launchs, well in the corner instead of ending in a hard attack, stuff like a, b, fireball mash till last hit, then duck fireball, then link a, …repeat XN till tech buffer? Or at least using that as another idea of a potential combo should work.

Well IGN video went up…their world exclusive was as I said just ginyu and nappa. No actual real new characters.

Few thoughts from it though… Looks like green men can slash, slide, blown up, and shoot acid at.

Recomme does have eraser gun and actually is pretty huge, to bad still from the look of it all the other attacks are pretty small though. Burters dash is pretty uninspiring as well but looks slow in a way thats at least probably good mechanically speaking for mix ups…

Ginyu switch puts you at neutral so besides the life switch and character switch no random combo potential like switch then hit guy while they are in recovery. Looks like he has a elbow special to. Wonder if it follows the rule of piccolos and blue gokus in that it auto goes through fireballs.

Chaotzu has a level 3 where he blows up… I guess playing with tien goes with that idea of all his supers someones gotta go. Either he is dying for damage or chaotzu is. Hopefully someone will switch ginyu with tien at some point and then chaotzu will die for fake ginyu to kill real tien. Real life drama in a video game… and then they switch back, and when chaotzu uses a level 3 for a second time he has halo on head thus completing the circle of life and he can go to heaven with no guilt and be free and useless.

Little bummed wanted to be wrong and get more new characters but alas… guess wait for japanese show tomorrow night

plot twist when instead of halo idea for chaotzu, if you try to use him again with the command it cancels into nothing, giving him the first infinite in the game chain combo cancel to chaotzu nothing comes out of course repeat. So the strategy becomes trying to get him to kill him as soon as possible
