Namco exec 1: How the fuck can they not get a positive response from relaunching a beloved franchise, especially when Marvel is basically the most popular thing in the world? Namco exec 2: Well, seems like there’s still a market for flashy fighters based on high-profile franchises that they aren’t taking advanta… wait a minute. Hold my beer, I gotta make a phone call. Wanna make a proper Mahvel-game with DBZ-characters if we let ArcSys use the DBZ-lisence, and give you ALL THE MONEY as development budget? Daisuke: bruh Namco exec 2: bruh
From what I noticed:
-Grabs lead to an auto launcher
-When teching grabs it leads to a quick flurry between the two players and they reset to neutral
-No selectable assists
-Sparking mechanic acts like a burst and gives a buff to the user. Can be used multiple times after cooldown
-Teleport mechanic from Budokai 3
-Homing dash type system that leads to a combo on hit.
-You can aim the ki blast
-specials can be aimed as well
-OTGS are in the game
-Looks like Double Jumps are in
-Assists can be hit
-DHC is in the game.
-Golden Frieza is a 3 bar transformation. When transformation ends Frieza gets tired much like Sol’s Dragon Install
-Reflect seems like it has its own command.
-Game is godlike

Finally a gaurd cancel mechanic worth getting excited over (not fan of dead angle’s).
I find it funny how people are welcoming DBZ fighter button scheme and button command with open ar,s and yet was ready to crucify Marvel vs Capcom Infinite with is Alledged simple input.
After watching the gameplay, it seems that this game has a homing mechanic like the Arcana Heart series. It seems that it works quite similar to it, although without a metter cost.
Even though marvel and this game seem to have some similarities, they are probably going to play very differently. Can’t really compare control schemes until the game actually comes out.
