I know that there are people in the my area that don’t go to Doylestown because it’s hard for them to get up there. People like Pinoy and Stephan should be able to make it to more stuff if it will get started in Glenside. Obviously, I don’t want to take away from Doylestown casuals, because they are awesome, so I will try to find out what week days the local Glenside people can do.
I will not let this get in the way of either Fight Night or Saturday 3s.
I just got done talking with the guy more, he really doesn’t seem to care when we do this crap. I’m thinking at least three ps2s, I don’t want to be standing around doing dick while two people play. Guilty Gear in the future maybe? This also isn’t the place to be shitting up, I’ll make a thread for it when we get some shit organized.

Glenside sucks. That being said I live very close. I would be down even though I blow at that game. What street is Game Junkie on?
Its right on Easton, Across the street from the Train Station, pretty much. The owner said they’ve been open for about 8 weeks now, real nice guy. They’ve got this huge, unfinished basement (larger than Cyborg One, maybe two times?), things are going to get real awesome when that gets done. Don’t sweat it if you’re not good at 3s, if you want to learn the game some we’ll teach you, I’m sure we’ll get some people down to play SSFIV too, I just put my priorities (read: games that I don’t want to go to sleep while playing) ahead. Theres plenty of space there for it, and we plan on running WEAKlies, possibly Ranbats (those I am set on for 3s, Super… depends on the outturn.)
Like I said, when I get crap together, I’ll make a thread, this isn’t just going to be for 3s, I’m just pushing it real hard lol. Jwangggg and I are going to sit down and brainstorm on everything after i look up some crap.

As for this Game Junkie thing we’ll seeeeeee. To be honest I kinda don’t want to play PS2 3rd Strike EVERRRRRR if I can’t help it. If you guys do get a group going (and Jon Moxon shows up!) I might stop by even though it’s much farther to play ps2 3s or I can fall out of bed and play arcade 3S on a head to head JAP cab. Just keep me informed and we’ll go from there. If you really want to get it going you might want to also throw in SSF4 just for exposure.
I will go to Game Junkie though if there are Ranbats for SSF4 and 3S (because I’m conceited).
Also what to do about 3S Saturdays? Are you guys still playing on Saturdays? The group seems to be in a bit of disarray now that FN is done. I don’t know because I’m working all day on Saturdays now. I’d like to play people on Tuesdays but that might be hard to swing for most people. I guess we could also play on Thursdays too since I’m also off then but I was thinking of going to Philly on Thursdays. I’ll definitely compromise for 3S time though!
I would have been there on Saturday if I wasn’t down the shore. I told everyone a week before I wouldn’t be there. I’m gonna be back full force next week. Jwang has really been stepping his Oro game up too.
As far as ps2 vs Arcade… trust me, i’d rather play on a cab any day. I’m just doing what I can to fight for the future. there are a lot of people I know down here that are intimidated by the players up at Doylestown, or just flat out can’t make it up.
SSFIV is definitely in the cards, I just don’t give a fuck about that pile of crap.
I will go every single Saturday after I get my license next Wednesday. I think Therapist not being there might contribute to the downfall of Saturday. shrug

I’m thinking we’re gonna start Fridays at 5. There are a lot of people who are coming, so if you were only going to come to be nice and get our attendance up, don’t sweat it. I totally understand the hatred of ps2 3s lol. I’m not going to post about it on the Philly thread because I’m more worried about having too many people than not having enough, since so many people have shown interest. I definitely don’t want to have a line going outside of the store for people to get to their turn.
Oi Brian, I came across some nice Omron switches from a TvC stick I modded a while ago, They’d fit perfectly in your SC4 stick, and make it a lot less mushy. I can put them in if you want.
