Double Dragon IV having (18?) playable characters for story mode = the ultimate Double Dragon ever

What I really don’t get is why almost every new Double Dragon game destroys the move list of the Lees. While I’m certainly glad to see the knee bash back, I knew the sitdown punches and stomp were not going to make it in. The stomp I can see as it’s only appearance in a DD game prior to Advance was on the Gameboy’s version of DD2. But the sitdown punches were in the NES version of 1.

Then comes the counter from Super, the shoulder toss from 3, and so forth. It’s almost like companies are trying to rewrite the status quo for the move lists every fucking game.

This is like the continuation of 2. They have their dd2 movesets with a few new things. I miss the back kick from 2, though.

A lot of people are brainless sheep who are dazzled by shiny objects.

DD4 is nothing short of amazing.
